Please check the Season 41 details (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=LM2R&group=1901&theme=6) regarding rules and the 1966 F1 Championship pages (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=LM2R&group=1971&theme=6) in particular. This season, races are to be run at 60fps – please use this patch 60fpsV2newmod (http://srmz.net/index.php?showtopic=4584#entry33919). If you have issues read festers post (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=12905.msg232771#msg232771). Drivers must complete 50% of each race to score. The races will be run as follows: Car set: 1966 F1 only. Date: Every second Tuesday from 13th September 2022 Time: No later then 9:00pm UK Time (30-60 mins practice, race starts at 9:30pm) Race Length: 50 minutes Damage Model: Pro Server: TBA Race List: IGOR Divisional Moderator: Billy Nobrakes Calendar:
Handicapping A tokens system will be used with drivers being awarded tokens for starting the season and for starting each race. Each car will cost a number of tokens per race. Drivers are reminded that Lap 1 incidents carry an extra 1 place penalty. Only reported incidents will be moderated. If you would like to enter this series please submit an entry in the poll. I'm not sure what else I have to do, but it looks like the choice of car depends on your tokens, so what is available to me as a new starter? I'd be happy driving anything.

Hi BobI've processed your registration so you now appear on the championship table (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=LM2R&group=1971&theme=6) and you should see the race password (which is at the top of the race announcement) when it is released. You'll be too good for the amateurs class so you will only get 10 tokens for starting the season (the amateurs get 20) but when added to your 10 tokens "start money" still means you can drive any car in your first race. However, plan your car choices carefully to optimise your chances throughout the season. Good luck in your first UKGPL race. So that means you will have to be a reserve. You should still get a drive because it is rare for more than 19 drivers to turn up to race, but please make sure you give the regular drivers plenty of time to join the server before you join. You cannot use the BT19 Brabham or the 312 Ferrari.
