In order to add an element of realism, and to hopefully reduce the possibility of rear-end incidents, the brake light patch will be used (http://srmz.net/index.php?showtopic=13319&#entry145626)

Both my Q laps weren't recorded even in my replay even if I started before the S/F line, what was wrong with me?  ???
I saw in my replay that other's first lap was recorded.
I saw on Pribluda that my best Q lap was 8.45, so I had gained only one position on the grid, but ...
Then at start I fallen asleep and Clive passed me, then a passed him before T2 and started a pursuit to Dave's Porsche. He spun at the top of the hill so I was able to pass, but he was soon on my exausts. At lap 3 I went wide at Kallenard and he was by. Again a long pursuit, but a lap later he spun at "The Tree" and when I arrived I saw him moving to rejoin track and this was enough to loose concentration where you CAN'T, so I lost and got the tree damaging the engine. Had to reset and Dave was gone. At last lap  at the jump before the esses I had Dave ahead and Doni at the back, I pushed too much on the jump trying to gain on Dave and maybe I had had the chance to pass him on the long straight, BUT I lost a bit and touched the rail damaging the engine, so Doni was by, BUT  ;D Doni spun at the bridge and I got 5th
Thx all for racing after four days of Covid  :)

Congrats Yannick and Pete!

First place with some of the most rubbish driving out there.

 You kept giving me some hope but not enough to make me do anything stupid. I did about the opposite of you. I couldn´t ask myself to drive much better than I did. I continually got faster until the last lap of the race and I was consistent throughout qualifying and the race.

Learning how to do a decent lap at Targa Florio in the Mk. 1 helped a lot today. I got two laps of practice before qualifying on the Targa setup. I made a few adjustments before qualifying. Any improvements I could make from this point would be guesses that later tested better.

I looked through some records and I have raced the Mk. 1 here 2 or 3 times previously. I can´t remember driving it before but I had a setup in the folder. I was thrilled to break 8:20 with the Mk. 1 and get a P2 out of it.

I hope you feel better soon Fulvio. I hope Axel doesn´t feel too bad. I was sad to see he did not finish the race. He showed some good strength early in the race until he let me and Yannick pass him.

Thanks for the fun. I appreciate it.

I have to admit that I'm not a fan of the 'Ring'. Perhaps I spent too long trying to hotlap it years ago before I discovered online racing. Anyway, this race has taught me to love it, especially for racing.

The Lola is my favourite of the SC cars so I thought I'd give it a blast through the German countryside. My pace wasn't electric but in the race I got hooked up with Cookie for a few laps and we had a fantastic battle. We passed each other a few times but only when the leader made a mistake. I bounced of the wall/barrier in a couple of places which was enough to let AC through but he was less lucky and his 'offs' were a little more time consuming so giving me the place back each time.

Very happy with a podium at this track and in this series.

Grats to Yannick and Greg. Yannick can win when he 'drives badly' and Greg can go sub 8:20 in a Ford Mk I. How do they do that?

Nice job by the podium!  Great job, fellas.

Didn't expect much from this round and wished only to keep it on the road without dramas.  That was working nicely up to a mile from the finish when I fell off going under the bridge and went for a wild ride.  I'd just passed Fulvio for the place at the Swallowtail but now promptly handed it back.  Geeezzz...
