Depending if I get a slot over on race2play will decide if i'm here or not. I've done a few touring car races online before and it seemed like a complete field of Matt Neil's. Very rough

Had a go on this, managed a 35.5 in the BMW.....but then lost the ability to drive it, spinning constantly.
Much more consistant in the Alfa.....about 8 tenths slower though.

If I can't figure out how to tame the beemer, I'll take a FWD.

Sounds oretty quick :O . That is on the 2007 version? As T1 is very different between 06 and 07.

Yea mate, was on the UKGTR server!  :P
I wouldn't worry, it was a one-off lap and I couldn't replicate it; repeatedly about 7 tenths down on it in sector 1 alone!

The beemer is definately potentially quicker around here, but more difficult to make go quickly. I suggest anyone struggling take a FWD car as they are a lot more predictable and less twitchy, but ultimately slower. I can do 1 fast lap in the BMW, then spin off at that nasty chicane  :o

Was ur party gd?  ;)

Caught me on the hop this announcement, didn't realise we were racing tonight. Don't know the circuit at all, so don't want to accidentally ruin someone elses race.
Enjoy the race guys, see you at the next one.

Don't know why I joined in.

I had just finished the worst race of my life over at race2play and noticed I could make it on time, just.

I thought my knowledge of the track in GTR2 would see me ok, but it's different.

Ran off second lap and thought I was wasting my time and gave up.

Hope you had fun, all 5 of you

I can't believe how much fun that was with 5 in the first race and 4 in the second. Ok the second was a "reckers anonymous" therapy session, but I feel better now thanks Dr Don. More WTCC please!

FWD converted Simon?

They do seem to offer the most fun, between WTCC and MINI

Haha, that was more of a Farfus family race than a WTCC race

Well done Jeff, amazing pace! ;D

Very bad standard of driving tonight  >:(, and I was one of them  ;D.

Man that was fun, first race was very close with SImon, 2nd race was a bangers race  ;D.

Some nice overseer moments  :P

Thanks Simon, I aim to please (sometimes) ;D
You probably wouldn't believe that I attempted to drive my ass off in both races, especially the second where I found myself on pole :P But you guys just cruised past and left me for dead.
I like the cars and hoped we could of got a few more people to show up and get turned onto them.

It now seems fit to punish you reckers with the Radicals round Estoril.

Don
I know it may be difficult but any chance of a bit more notice if we are are going to race on a Wednesday after racing on the Monday. Is there any chance you could announce the Wednesday race shortly after announcing the Monday race in the week.
Interested in your thoughts on this.

Sure, no problem.
I have been trying to organize 2 events a week, so Mondays and Wednesdays are what I have/will be aiming at. It's only if I know I'm not going to be around to start the server that I don't schedule anything on either of those days.

Don, if you are not around, there are plenty of other server starters who could start the server. All you need to do is ask. ;) There's a server starter override setting in the LM2i so it's easy peasy once you've found a replacement to start the server. :)

You can get those FWD's so ridiculously sideways and still not spin! ;D
I wanted a little screen on the top-right of my monitor in R1 so I could see what all the racket was about!

Well I think I would have needed to have been wonderwoman in order to keep up with all the Aliens that turned up and were let loose at Oschers last night  ;D
I noticed you guys slowed up and waited for me  :wheelchair: I'm just holding back until the League stuff starts lol.

Haha, I think we all started off seriously in Race 1, until a couple of peeps left and there was only 4 of us still racing! Then Simon and Jeff started larking about. ;D Race 2 was just a muckabout really, which is kind of right seeing how few were in it.

Wish I'd have taken the Pug now, just to see how shite it was!
