I think maybe we should have a gentleman's agreement to stick to the SR4 205.

Man these cars can brake! And they have downforce like a .... Last corners was always tricky in GTR2, now you can just keep your right foot down.

I had a Pig of a Car, haven't quite figured these cars out yet, but good fun, great battle with Don in both races.
Was everybody going by the gentlemans agreement and sticking to the SR4 205s??

My apologies Ossie - I think I was running a lot more rear wing than most and when you wagged your tail in VIP I as already charging out of the corner and ran straight in the back of you. :'(

Lol,

Race One I was running in a lonely 3rd and then I ran out of fuel.

Race Two I smacked someone up the annus going into the chicane... apologies for that, I bust my splitter if it's any consolation. After having to re-adjust to driving without it (which included a spin when I thought I had it) I tried to fight back through. Had some good fights with Edam, Don and JPS as I tried to get through, apologies if I squeezed anyone too hard or put anyone's back up... tried to be as clean as possible.

Jon

Well, I thought these cars were great for racing (once you get used to them).
I had great battles throughout both races with JPS1, one of us would make a slight corner entry/exit mistake and the other guy would get a jump and be able to get ahead.
Some of these car class's could hold some fantastic options for racing were we to get enough enough people to fill the Grids.
These and the F3000'S are really doing it for me :)

Did a PB in qually, which I was happy with.

For some stupid reason I lengthened 1st gear, eventhough I didn't use it :P.
So the start for Race 1 was afewull, and FreQ got by. Others I could keep behind but I lost track of where everybody was.
Followed FreQ for a few laps untill I drafted by.
Could get a good rythm and drive away after that.

For Race 2 I shortened first gear right up and I had a good start. But eventhough I couldn't really overtake anyone, 3 or 4 cars alongside.
I was behind Edamspeed and Madd-RIP. Had a hard time getting past them. Madd overtook Edam and I had to wait another lap to get behind him on the straight, which was the only plave to overtake somebody really.
Then I was behind Madd, and I took him the same way.
I was 7,5s behind FreQ with 7 laps to go, so I had to win over 1s a lap.
I was on schedule and winning about 1s a lap, so I tried to pressurize FreQ over Team Speak :P. It was really gonna get close, but in the end I was 0.6 behind. I needed just 1 more lap :).
Good result Dave, consistency...king ;D

did a pb in quali which I was very happy about as I'd only done about 8 laps around here in the Radical so pretty pleased with that.

Then got tapped from behind into T3 and ended up last, so it was again a case of going for it, almost got Dave into chicane but then the dastardly Team Shark weapon of a wagging rear end claimed another victim and I had to jump out of the way to avoid him, giving my other nemesis, Pribeiro, my ruddy place!

Race 2 went a lot better with some patient (for me) overtaking and was able to only just hold off that pesky Pribeiro for third with my useless lazy pit crew telling me my engine was overheating, a shame they weren't so judicious in fixing my car in the  pits, lazy sods!  :D

These cars are the Dogs Danglies and must surely be one of the cars we use in an eventual league.

Any ideas as to when a decision is going to be made as to what cars are going to be used?

Good fun racing Jeff as usual. These Rad's had a load of grip but not really enough power, wonder what the 250's are like, but I prefer the FBMW's so far and the WTCC's.

R1 was fun, got a rocket start and stayed in the leade for a couple of laps, then Jeff dragged past and I started cocking up and dropped back. Was still on for second until I ran out of fuel on the last corner...bugger!

R2 started with another rocket start and I tried to build up a lead. Jeff somehow closed down a 7 second lead to almost nothing....held on by the skin of my teeth

Don't love these cars though. My fav sim cars around are still the GTR2 cars, particularly the GT1's ;D

Just looked at the replays - I managed a major spin in both races (due to my own stupidity), and somehow, PRibeiro was always behind me to provide the impact :D ;D :D

Sorry Paulo ;)
