You must NOT start qualifying until 30 mins is left on the clock to allow for reserves.

Groups Based on Divisional Standings:

Group 1 - 1st and 2nd - Limited to BRM, Cooper or Honda
Hristo Itchov
John Roberts

Group 2 - 3rd and 4th - Limited to BRM, Cooper, Honda or Eagle
Clive Gardner
Lorenzo Galluzzi

Group 3 - 5th and 6th - Cannot take Ferrari or Lotus
Ken Murray
Kruger Enge

Group 4 - 7th and 8th - Cannot take Lotus
Glyn
Syd Drake


9th and below - Free choice of chassis.


PIT STOPS FOR DRIVERS OPTING TO USE FASTER CAR THAN ALLOWED ABOVE
Drivers wishing to take a chassis other than as specified above will
need to make the appropriate pit stop(s) as follows:

Group 1
Lotus        1 x 65 or 2 x 27
Ferrari       1 x 38 or 2 x 14
Brabham    1 x 24   
Eagle        1 x 14


Group 2
Lotus         1 x 41 or 2 x 16
Ferrari        1 x 14
Brabham     Stop and Go


Group 3
Lotus         1 x 31 or 2 x 11
Ferrari        1 x 4


Group 4
Lotus         1 x 17

The pit window is as follows:

First pit stop to be taken between 25 and 17 to go on your pit board. If a second stop is required it must be taken at least 1 full lap after the first and before 8 to go on your pit board.

Did anyone turn out for this? I was at Croft all weekend and didn't get back in time. Pity as Oulton is one of my favourites, but we are there on Tuesday and next Sunday, so I should make at least one of them.

Grats to John for surviving the longest at Oulton and for making consistency pay throughout the season to take a very well deserved 2nd spot in the Masters league.

Grats also to Hristo for another comprehensive thrashing of us lesser mortals, all of whom deserve a pat on the back for taking on these sometimes tortuous circuits ( well they were for me!!)

I am aware that we are currently in the "holiday season" but taking that into account, Masters does seem to have suffered from dwindling grids lately. Hopefully the proposed "Challenge " series might revive some interest.

Very many thanks for all your hard work Steven over this and past seasons.  It's been a real pleasure having you on the moderating staff (and racing against you before you got too quick!)

Thanks Gents......and in honour of GPL, UKGPL and Ms. Fujikawa's team, my iRacing car shall forever carry their colours (hint: look at my new avatar).

Hopefully some way of forming leagues will be forthcoming in iRacing, and we can form iUKGPL  ;D
