I expect the server can be 'wound on' if necessary. Personally I may have fallen asleep by then.

I've never run Enna, but reading a couple of comments on what to expect in other threads.... lol

EDIT - Just found this while looking for an idea of how Enna is to drive - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=5oatlnF1R1E I think I can see the dodgy tyre stacks & wow, aggressive kerbs! p.s. Don't invite that driver to SROU, hits opponent out the way to overtake every time  ::)

I did some testing there with the Gallardo when it was first released...never hit the tyres once. :-\

Anyway, I hope nobody EVER tries to go side by side through those two chicanes lol

phew i almost forgot what big Kahunas you need for those two high speed chicanes with nothing but a tyre wall for a vista !!  :o  i still hold my breath every time i go through them  :P

I felt like a Porsche test driver from Weissach sent out to do some exploratory runs in this seasons 997  8)
I must be improving i didnt write a single Porker off in 38 laps of testing   it used to be standard form to write off half the Legends fleet in practise for this place

By the way who typed the tech specs for this car?...was it Bob after a few drinks? its labelled as a 977 GT2  ::)

Did anything change to the physics for this car since the last release?  Getting weird tyre wear/pressures on left rear. Could just be a setup thing but i tried variations of rear arb and springs without luck. No biggie just wondering.

It was probably delivered to Bob like that. ::) I'll correct it in the mid-season update.

No changes to any of the Porsches between 2.8.9.2 and 2.9.1.0.

Be handy if people could start posting some laptimes using the new cars, otherwise we are all in the dark pace wise.

I'll get the ball rolling, low 36's-37 race pace for me in the GT2 997RSR so far. Havent done a low fuel qual run yet.

Sadly my best in the 997 GT2 was a 38.9. Don't really know where i'm losing it either :(  I would have thought round here low wing is best, right?

Might be nice to change cars and go straight into 2nd race.  :)  I plan to go first with GT1 and then see if the interest lingers.  8)

Nice :)

GT1 for me too. I got a low 1.30 off line but, the lines that I took were not exactly what I would call 'safe'. ;)

I bet the record lap by Ruskus would be amusing to watch ;D

Possible to get in the 1.29s with this setup :)

Not exactly a good showing for my first race back!!

Hopefully Tuesdays race will go better!

B'ah, once more a victim of the Enna tyre wall chicane  :'(  Clipped one at the first high speed chicane and damaged my rear axle. Car crabbed down the road after that so had to retire as it kept trying to stick me in the wall again.

Got GT2 Pole,  8) led from the green lights upto my demise half way through race.

I do like this track but it is a car killer and the grids get decimated too early.

Didn't know the track. Didn't have time to practice. Didn't know what car to take. Didn't have a setup for very very late car choice (dropped out late in Pracy to swap to another as the Porka997RSR I was trying was wandering all over the place ???).

It all shone threw in what was a very poor race for me. Ah well, the early finish means I'll fit in a bit of testing for Tuesday.

Just as i was settling down into things having passed Prof in that quick GTC my PC locked up, then a minute later came back but with currupted textures as i hit the wall.

Hope its not an omen for the season as i haven't had any problems for a while.

No worries Reign Man, thought a fridge had landed on the rear of my car when you accidently hit me  and I spun and hit the wall, and lost a few spaces getting back in line.

Race was going well 8) nice trying to chase The Prof down in his GTC, but made a slight error :o in the twisty section after the start finsh which made me kiss one of the barriers :'( after that the car handling was shot  so pulled onto the verge and retired, great circuit, punishing on any errors..good fun.

I have a huge grin on my face as that was loads of fun.

Yeeeehaaaw.  :cowboy:

Slightly spoilt by the officials giving me a stop go for cutting when I was spinning out of control and then twice afterwards for pit lane speeding. In the end I had to put limiter on before I even got to the pit lane to stop them giving me stop gos. Bah! ::)

What a track.  Done fair until about half way. Sorry to who ever i hit trying to blink my lights to let them pass. I ran right into them. Very sorry. Rookie mistake. Very hard to get a rhythm and let the faster cars by.  This is my first league racing in GTR so would appreciate any advice, help and ridicule if needed. Again very sorry for the mistake.

Funny old track, dreadful start with cars spinning and stuff. Hope we've got that out of the way before the real season and I hold my hand up as I was as guilty as many tapping the car in front :(

After that and RM waiting, which sadly left large gaps I think, it was a slightly strange race. I hadn't realised how many GT1/2's went off on the formation lap, or first race lap incidents but lap after lap more were coming by at a rate of knots  ::)

Anyway, safe and slow I didn't hit a single tyre all race :) Quite enjoyed it and was a little disappointed when the race ended 5 mins early.

Didn't have any praccy and just tried to keep it on the track during the race. Had one off where I hit the barrier but only lost 5s and the car didn't seem to mind it to much either. Just need to get some more praccy in before next time :) Nice racing all, was good fun 8)

Edit: At the back I put my limiter on for about 20 meters but apart from that the pack didn't seem close enough to do so TBH

Np, it happens. Was a bit surprised, though. Kind of like I got torpedoed.  :D
Kissed the Rubber Stack of Doom 3 times. Poor Frodo...  ::)

Spanner, you driving the C6R? If you were apologies for the nudge, I came off my limiter too eraly.

Enjoyed that race, a lot going on around me, a lot of people dropping out. Was hoping to have the same pace as MJ but I couldn't get close enough for a battle. One nudge on the barrier and one silly spin were my only errors.

Lots of fun with a good handling GTC watching the faster classes fly past and the inevitable accidents. I lost a lot of ground to Pete's Z4 at the starting melee (sorry for the tap) and never saw him again. I got to the end without further incident picking up places as people dropped out. The perfect place for a fun race - too many DNFs for the serious stuff.

OK, we are done hogging the server now ;D

Needles to say the second race was not completed by anyone,  :D

The test race was awesome, really enjoyed it and was also disappointed that it finished early. I was lucky with other peoples mistakes but I did have to push much harder than I wanted to at times. :sweatdrop:

Jose was rite on me from the start and I was pushing hard for the first few laps. Jose made a mistake following me into one of the tyre barriers. Easily done when follwing through there.  I was able to back off for a little while but FreQ soon caught up, totally on a charge ;D

He got passed on the last corner and got the line into T1. I then began to push very hard to keep up but he had me. :( To my amazement he crashed into the tyre barrier. Unlucky mate, you had incredable pace.

See you all next time.

Great race. Decided to take the Viper because it was great fun round here.....so, so fast on the straights!

Completely messed up at the start and caused chaos when I spun before even getting to the s/f line. Sorry everyone! It was funny though, I was laughing down teamspeak whilst facing the wrong way.

Worked my way up during the race and had a fantastic scrap with Simon; he wouldn't give an inch and we fought for a couple of laps. I made a couple of mistakes and dropped back, only to close again and start the fight back up. Then we committed the cardinal sin of trying to go side-by-side into the first fast chicane...and I think we were the only people in history to pull it off!   He then had a big tank slapper at the next chicane and somehow held it together. Was great to fight like that and not make contact ;D

Then caught Hal up, and had another good scrap, eventually passing on the s/f straight. Then I totally messed up at the second fast chicane and went smack into the tyres and jettisoned myself into the sky and off the track.

I love Enna, and the Viper was great here too. Great race!  ;D  8)

Nightmare for me; I came out of an iRacing "fun" race which turned into a destruction derby, with a splitting headache and jumped into the Aston with zero practice. Was pretty clearly the slowest thing on the track and promptly stuffed myself into the left hand tyre stack in the first chicane early doors. Limped back to the pits to have my left front reattached and carefully avoided that tyre stack for the rest of the race, so carefully in fact that I drove directly into the right hand tyre stack in the same place. Decided at that point that perhaps I wasn't fit to be out there and quit.

I didn't really have a problem in practice or qualifying so I don't know why it all went so wrong in the race. ???

Went to do another iRacing race but it turned into another destruction derby. ::)
