In the YOURNAME.PLR file

[ DRIVING AIDS ]
Auto Lift="1"    // Makes it so GTR style shifting can be done, ie without lifting

[ Game Options ]
Crash Recovery="0" // Artificially keep cars on track or flip cars upright // This would be good to disable IMHO, car flipping etc is not realistic

In Multiplayer.ini

[ Multiplayer General Options ]
Concurrent Server Updates="200" // defaults to 40 which should be good for everyone, broadband users could up this to 20-30 for faster server lists if desired.
Request Autodownloads="1" // Set to 1 if you want to automatically download files  // There's a corresponding server switch too, we need to test this at some point :-)

Have I been ignoring your posts again Fozz ;)

Server was set to 1 - no wonder I could hold those Russ Swift 2 wheel moments coming off the chicane although I guess we don't know if the server is master here.

I have set this to 0 for now. Any issues please shout peeps.

I aint tested it, but when starting the server, you select the player to run as, and that player.plr file effects formation laps and other stuff like that.

I def ran against it once in the race, i think i also ran against it subtley(sp?) once, i think its kindof spring like.

Anyway we'll see, I always disliked that aspect of GTR.

Well we mean, atificial flipping, once your on your roof, or going over, the game puts u back on your wheels, that's what it's meant to disable

Autoclutch is pretty slow and you'll gain tons of time by doing it manually instead.

I noticed last night that if you change autoclutch setting to 100%, i have no third peddle, gear changes are much quicker.

Interesting, it doesn't sound slow. I'll pay particular attention to it next time tho.

I have a clutch, and need to learn how to do all that fancy stuff at some point...

Does anyone know the .PLR fix to make this add X fuel to the current rather than modify the current fuel load to X. This always p***es me off big style, I don't want to be driving around on the limit doing maths in my head!

[ Game Options ]
...
Relative Fuel Strategy="1" // Show how much fuel to ADD, rather than how much TOTAL fuel to fill the tank up to

was added with 1.150 i think

Could have done with noticing this before last night, first time I have not done the maths right, also first time I have pitted so early.

Will make that change tonight!

I think it's in the .plr file, I think I've changed it on mine...

mmmmh inside .PLR there's only an "on/off" selection not by percentage as described above ....
