Not sure about the "...the legend continues" being at the top - looks like it ought to be at the bottom, which probably means swapping the POWER and GLORY round, so it's something like this:

UKPnG	GLORY
POWER	... the legend  continues

Could also put UKPnG in the middle and then I can add the "... the legend continues" as text at the bottom right.

Ok, rearranged it and added some decoration, how's that?

Not 100% sure about the font (always been a sans serif man myself :laugh:) but as for the design in general, me likey! :winkiss:

Agreed the serif fonts are usually a bit awkward on screen, but I figured something not quite so angular would suit the theme better. Then again my font collection is pretty much limited to the stock Windows ones so not very many interesting choices there.  :P

if you drop the red background & just have red edging around the UKPnG... then it would look good & not be a million miles away from the UKGTR/UKGTL ones. Corporate identity & all that 8)

UKiR should do the same, but with red, white & blue. having a background looks 'naff' in my eyes (for want of a better word). IMHO

It's very fetching but I would call it a banner rather than a logo.

I found that the nearest font that I could find for the one used by PnG is one called Impact.  Most appropriate I thought.

I think that something like this should be used as the actual "logo" (probably at a small size) and that the banner should expand on the theme and add more info.

There could be a reason for that... ;)

I like them - I think the first one is better, I've never been a fan of the flag motif, always think it looks a bit "fussy".

EDIT: one thing, can the ampersand '&' be replaced by a lowercase 'n', so it fits with the forum names? Also because it makes me think of fish'n'chips. :laugh:
