Title: Track cutting and the consequences
Post by: Wiltshire Tony on May 27, 2010, 08:44:06 PM +0100
There are occasionally drivers who consider that cutting corners/chicanes, to gain an advantage, is an acceptable part of sim-racing and that if they think they can get away with it they will continue to do it, either in qualifying sessions or during races.

Thankfully the majority of drivers at SimRacing.org.uk do not share this view.

So here is a warning. If I find that any driver is cutting corners or chicanes, or are deliberately taking a deviation from the racing track in order to gain an advantage, either in a qualifying session or a race, I will ask for the Incident Moderators to rule on the offence using any written and/or visual evidence available. If, subsequently, the Moderators rule against the individual I will push for the strongest punishment to be applied which is currently exclusion.
