I've spent a fair bit of the last week testing for it, and look like I might have respectable pace - at least until the tyres go off. Alright for you youngsters but I'll be struggling to stay awake. :wheelchair: I think the winners will be the ones who can manage their tyres best. Strange that Edwards is there at all though - I guess he's not racing in the Sprint Cup at Infineon tomorrow, as both races are on simultaneously. ??? EDIT: oh, I see, the Nationwide race is today but it's not broadcast in the US until tomorrow (and not here at all :( ). Can I really be wrassed to do a race that won't end until after 2am? Or do I just ask for my Impala B money back? Ran an ultra-conservative pace knowing that the tyres turn to jelly after 5 laps if you push them and it paid off.
Would've been an incident-free run too except that I had to drift it across the grass at one point to avoid a car who'd been punted by someone who then went on to have a rant later about a car that put a wheel off, spun and collected him.
