1:15 in the CC with racesetup.

The camera angle in the first sector is really cool to watch, great to see the car switch from corner to corner.

My best times after about 20 mins practise, Z4 1.18, 997 1.17.1 and more to come i'm sure. Just finding the 997 a handful round here, easy to loose the back end in the first sector.

yep its really unfortunate that so many people had connection problems, some even before the race started i think hopefully it will be better in the future (or did previous season also see so many disconnection ?)

i had a great race, qualified not to bad in the second half of the pack, but with only 1 sec between 4th and 12th i think it was very close.

i started well and soon had 4 or 5 people pressing me a lot, again big big tension, but i had the best car (the 997 is the best from what i read previously) so it was hard to pass me because i was slower where you can't pass and faster in the straight hehe  :o

big scare on lap 10 when i hit a frozen lagged car very hard, i thought my car was dead so i decided to let pass all the guys behind me, but then in the following laps i noticed my car was still going good (maybe a frozen car doesnt cause that many damage hehe), so i continued with a decent pace, i could gain some more positions with unfortunate people disconnecting and some that went into the grass.

then the final laps still big battle with truetom until almost the last lap, i really enjoy it and once again i appreciated the fact that  i was surrounded by fair racers that didn't just push me aside even if they were a bit faster

obviously i dont really belong on the podium and i didnt even overtake anyone except people in the grass, but i was happy with my driving so i'll take it for once hehe  ;D

thank you and take care  8)

Ignoring my woeful effort in the Viper was it really a bad net day or was the track in someway responsible. There was an unusually high number of people disconnecting, mainly during the race. Those on TS often disappeared from there at the same time (implies net/pc crash)

Any opinions chaps?

I'm pretty sure that the problem in my case was in my own Internet connection. The connection had been quite dodgy yesterday so I knew that my race could end (well in this case it didn't even start, heh) because of disconnection.

It was very unexpected 5th place for me.  It's to bad that so many drivers had all those problems, but they did bring somewhat points to me.

I'm sorry I will not be there for next race. Hope to see you all on the race after.

Nice race. :)

Yes, it was a shame that so many people had issues. I was lucky with that and received an undeserved 2nd place.

I had many nice fights along the way include a big one with TT and then another big one with Craske. Good stuff guys. :)

I had a slight incident with craske but, it was bad luck rather than anyone being too aggressive. I was lucky to get away with minimal time loss and damage but, Craske fell back a bit after that.

I was not too far from being lapped by Jeff at the end of that. ;D

Well done all, see you next race.

If drivers would prefer that the results do not stand due to the number of connection issues and other problems, then that is OK with me. At one point I jumped 4 places in one go after a group of drivers were impeded by a CTD car on the track (I think). :o

I got lobbed out during qually then again during the race. Hope I didn't get in the way.
Horrid track - probably did me a favour.

got some late practice in and was pretty chuffed with 5th... iR knowledge of the track helped on a lot but also made me realise how good & better the graphics are compared to this version. Still like it on here though.... shame i crashed in esses (and five pints i had since lunchtime didn't help  ::))

grats Ruskus  :) and unlucky API :( grabbed pole with a great time and disappeared on the grid... crap luck

I CTD'd once in practice. Perhaps the track is the issue?

Shame about the issues, we had. finally managed to get into the 16's in qually and was a pretty decent and close race to start with. Sly didnt go at the line and i tried everyting with him and Craske running close ahead as well but they would just pull away down the straights. TT and H@L started closing behind and TT managed to get ahead, he must have found the boost button as he came flying past down the back straight. H@L got past and disappeared into the distance but with a few people falling off, myself included and a few frozen cars meant it ended up being quite a busy race. That was until GTR2 minimised as i was heading towards the first turn. When i realised it was still running and tried to maximise it i'd heard the noise of the crash into the barriers and when i got back in the engine had died.

Managed to sort a decent setup for the Z4 here so am confident for the rest of the season.
