Season 20 – Spec Race Challenge

The rules for the Spec Race Challenge are the same as last season.

This season there will be one division only with no split of drivers.

The races will be run as follows:

Car set: 65 F1, 67 F1 and 69 F1
Date: Every second Sunday from 17th October 2010
Time: 9:00pm London UK Time (20 mins practice, Race 1 starts at 9:20pm.  There will then be a second 20 mins practice session followed by Race 2.)
Race Length: Short
Damage Model:  Intermediate
Server: UKGPL_T7_2
Race List: IGOR

Getting to the point where I have to decide whether to run this as one or two divisions (last year we had the Light Brigade & the Heavy Brigade).
If anyone is still considering now's the time to sign up! We are running a mix of 65, 67 & 69 races (no 66's). If you are a 65 only driver - just enter the 65 races. For 67's I have deliberately chosen well used tracks & it may be a good introduction. With the 69 Mod its like the power of 67's with the grip of a 65 car. Set ups are a bit more tricky as you can play around with wing elevations.
Nigel & Fran have posted that they want to drive but have not yet voted at the top of the thread.

So we can set up the season in SROU I'm setting a cut off date of Friday 8th October.
Having split divisions will be based on the number of registered drivers at that date. As it stands it looks like one division.
This doesn't stop people signing up mid-season but we won't be able to split after the cut off.
If you are still thinking about it -to quote my grandfather - either piss or get off the pot.

Well I've registered now for one race....

I've registered now for the last race as a spare driver if there is no full grid..

Is this ok?
