(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules (https://www.simracing.org.uk/index.php?pid=7) especially the rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Power and Glory v2 from here (http://www.gtlw.co.uk/), 2.1 patch from here (http://www.gtlw.co.uk/) and enable terrain patch.
(4) Drivers are reminded that they must select ISDN as their bandwidth, otherwise the stability of every-one's connection will be reduced.
(5) P&G has no 'Pit Speed Limiter' function. You may go as fast as you like in the pits, but please exercise caution. Penalties will be handed out for causing contact in the pit lane. Use your best judgement when making your pitstop during the race.

In the 1970's, the Riverside circuit was the principal location for the annual International Race of Champions (IROC).

For this years Christmas Special we draw our inspiration from these events.

There will be eight teams, each with their own colour Porsche. And each team will consist of a maximum of three drivers.

To enter this years Christmas Special, simply pm me with details of your chosen team colour and the names of your drivers. Teams colours will be on a first come, first served basis.

Entries accepted up to midnight 29th December 2010.

I'm looking forward to this one. I love driving the IROC 911. MJ was requesting a series with the 914. I'd also be interested in running a series in this one as well. Great car. Tony has given us plenty of time to dial it in. Get cracking!

I did a bunch of testing for this event. The AI set to 120% with psychotic agression is quite good and will give you a race. Start at the back and work your way forward.

IROCs at Riverside is like my classic vintage porsche racing christmas dream come true!

I would love a champ series using just these but seems too many dont like them or cant get the hang of them.  :'( hence why i mentioned 914s as they are more user friendly and great for a one make series.

Alas, ironically i cannot even commit to this as not sure yet whether i will be in Italy at xmas...bummer  :'(

how about making a rule where no team can consist of more than one alien...should keep it tighter and spread the talent throughout the field.  :)

LOL

Then you have to define "alien".   :alien:

That should take a month or so.

How about Mike plus anyone who sounds remotely Italian?  Or is that It-alien?  Never could spell.

It's a nice idea MJ, in theory, but probably a nightmare to administer, and I'd probably have to end up deciding who was  :alien: and who wasn't. Not a task I'd relish TBH.

I'm  8) with the current more casual format and ATEOTD  :alien:'s will race  :alien:'s whatever you do.

m'eh, just an idea  :P

this should get you in the mood for driving one of these vintage beasts, albeit an RSR, but check out the agility and sound of it  :o

Might stop you lot complaining about how difficult to drive it is in sim when you see how it moves about through the twisties for real  ;)

Hello,

Again a nice one Tony!

But please do not  :gun_bandana: when I ask how one can swap drivers during the race.
Is this some kind of setting?
I never have raced as a team before so I am kinda new to this concept of racing (although it sounds really cool).

If somebody please can give a hint where I can find this information, it is much appreciated.

PS. Are there not more IROC cars, the camouflage green and the vaguely yellow one?

I assumed that all drivers would complete the whole race and the team points would be totted up.

True but Eight teams x three drivers = 24 which is near our server limit.

LOL!

I'm afraid events have been set in motion to actually come up with a team with some aircooled experience  (only with somewhat less horsepower as in the IROC cars) ;D

I wonder if entering & being put into teams would prove more popular at enticing drivers to join?

It would be a fairly quick task to loosely rank all entrants about a week before the event. Each team to consist of one alien type + one average Joe + one back marker.

The winning team being the one to score the most points with all three drivers contributing (if they finish) with a score system like 20 (=winner), 19, 18, 17..........3, 2, 1 (last place).

Just a thought anyway, ignore as desired :)

I wouldn't change any of the teams that have already entered. I would also wait another month and then review. Many folk will be waiting to see if they are going to be available to race so are probably holding back from entering.

EDIT: It would be useful if any single drivers who would like to take part pm me their name then we would be able to implement Legzy's idea if it's necessary.

Ok, Don;t think I have an older 70 version, but I have what looks like maybe a 60's version with less pretty pits, and a longer
layout with more corners that we once used for a big metal race. I will assume that this race is the 70's GP layout.

Post by: Clive Loynes on October 30, 2010, 04:05:43 PM +0100
I'd say this was a shorter layout than we have used previously.  It doesn't have the centre loop, so the track goes straight from the end of the wiggley bit at the start to the corner before the main straight.  It gets rid of that awkward double/triple right before the left onto the straight. And the corner at the end of the wiggley bit is only a 90, not a 180.

I haven't done a lap yet but you never know your luck.  I might get left alone long enough for a quick reconnoitre.

It is the shorter layout and if the track your using has concrete filled half tyres lining the insides of the corners it's the WRONG TRACK!

Sorry Matt, didn't see your post until after my test  run.

This isn't going to be easy is it?  IROC seems to want to do the whole lap tail-end first!

My best was a 1:30.185 but I think that I have more work to do in refining the brake bias.

That's about the only thing you can change on the damn thing.

I've been using the setup I used at Jarama, which is a slow and safe hard front style. So far I am down to
1:28.4 though I have only done a dozen laps, don't think I will be going much faster than that though.
I am not a fan of pigs - white,  or otherwaise (have I said that before  :D ) I can't really "race" them, my fast in
late brake style is most unsuitable for cars with a cement mixer behind the rear wheels, so I am picking my way
round, nursing the car into corners all the time. I sort of enjoy it, but I can't give it 10-10ths

hehe, slow in/fast out is the style for these cars, using the rear weight for excellent traction out of the apex's. Didnt you have a good race when we last used the IROC's matt? seem to remember you being uncannily quick despite moaning about the cars all the way upto the race  ;)

Since we have a two month build up to this event we could do with a "Practice Times Leader Board" such as the VDA lads did for their Istanbul do or the type of thing that GPLRacer run for all their events.
http://john.gplracer.net/test/ausgabepb_65.php5

But I haven't a clue how it's done.

MJ is right, I moan about the porkas but usually end up having a fun race. I didn't say anything about RSRs
that was someone else. Actually when suitably "neutered" I prefer the IROCs to the RSR. I have ro drive
different than normal, but it's a challenge, and the IROC is less awkward to me.
DIdm't we do some sort of practice time leaderboard last year? did Tony set something up?

of course the downside of that is that if it's flipped round to Riverside, someone without Riverside installed (& not reading this thread) already, will find it very hard to work out & fix what's going on.
If people want to practice for this event already... Offline :)

It didn't look like the full circuit. They didn't use the Can-Am loop and the straight seemed too short to me. Maybe the game representation of the straight is too long? I haven't watched enough real footage to know for sure.

Getting my system ready for this now. I don't currently have PnG installed. Is this list correct?

Install GTR2
Install P&G v2
Install P&G 2.1 patch
Enable terrain patch
Install track

Is there also a patch for GTR2 I have to install? Anything else?

There's a patch for GTR2 you need to install before P&G (Think the patch is v1.1.0.0 - someone will correct me if not)
Also if you want to install the no-cd patch then do it after the update and before you install P&G  :)

All correct FMG. If you plan to race both GTR2 and P&G I also recommend doing a GTR2 install up to and including the no-cd patch and your controller setup and then copy the entire GTR2 folder and rename it to PnG. Install the Power & Glory mod and subsequent P&G patches to this new folder. The reason being is the menu system is very different and the P&G mod has been known to not play nicely with other mods like V8 Supercars and others.

1:28.1 race setup so far, concentrating on finishing the event rather than fastest lap  ;)
But then I'm not much of a Coleopterophile  ::)
Apart from my somewhat loose cannon self, we have two good strong drivers to pick up the points

Below 1.28 with a full tank. Best on low fuel 1.27.250. I'm pretty sure though, that the best drivers will be 1 sec faster than that  :scared:

I spent an hour practice and setup time last night and got the car feeling nice and stable and predictable, which is a feat in itself. The tyre choice seems to affect the final gear ratio which is a bit odd. Maybe the bias ply has better grip but has more drag than the radial and this is the way the mod replicates it ???

Lapping at 1:28 full fuel.....still much prefer the standalone IROC mod and would bet money it would produce much better racing.

1:28.4 with full fuel but what I really need is to watch someone who knows what he is doing!

It certainly isn't "comfort zone" racing!

Guy's, two things.

Firstly due to some personal stuff going on in my life at the mo I am unable to commit to this event (plus I currently don't have a computer running that has P&G on it  ::)).

Secondly, I haven't been able to compile a fastest laps table.

If someone else wants to set one up, please go for it. I would recommend Google office tools as a good aid.

For any that have had a go and are put off by the car/track combo (like Geoffers  ;) )
I find the IROCs probably the worst handling and hardest PG car to drive with my fast in slow out style.
Before you give up on what is likely to be a great event, try making all the front settings as hard as poss
and all the rear as soft as poss, max front ARB and min rear. Even like that I have to tread on eggshells
to get it round reliably. I think it will be as much who can finish as who can set the fastest flying lap.
It was that way last year, and this is likely to be even more so.

The more the merrier!  ;D

The excel graphic that I was using to update the team chart is on the hard drive that's in the computer that went "I'm broke, go away".

I've done more than 100 laps now on Riverside, but I still find it very traitorous. Actually I rather like that, because then there's also a better chance, that racers in front of you will do some sand ploughing too.

I was planning on a practice session and then a few short (say 3 lap) sprints. You can test fuel mileage and fuel loads in practice.

Every time that I go from one event to another I have found that I need to exit to windows, defrag the game folder and then re-enter the game.

A series of 3 lap races will be a right pain in the neck to be honest.

A test race sounds like a good idea . . . .  not sure my visiting mother in law agrees though  ;)

Are you guys planning to race/practice at 21.00 UK time ?

I was planning on our standard 19:00 time slot.
Try without the restart/defrag Clive. I'm surprised you need that. Turn off replays.

The phrase polishing a turd comes to mind Clive with your PC. You've clearly got some serious problems with it when a defrag helps. Would have said you need a re-install and probably and new hard drive.

Really enjoy driving the IROC again. Its not much like the rest of the PnG stable and takes me an age to adapt to. Confidence with a loose rear end is the key.

Surprised that those first two corners cost so much time, and that section just seems like pot luck time so far. I fluked them a few times and got half a dozen laps in the 26.5's but really couldn't replicate that consistently. The rest of the track should be good for racing but that first section is gonna cause real trouble.

We shall reconvene after Christmas. Have a good one gents :)

Team Black is now complete, as by dint of a fair bit of arm twisting I have persuaded my brother Simon to have a go.

So long as Mark's ankle is better after his sledging prang last week we are all systems go!!!

Well, at least until Simon makes his first attempt to get the IROC through that twisty bit at the start of the lap!

He used to like the 67Honda in GPL and I don't think that the IROC is anywhere near as nasty as that.  ;D

I'm good to go I think Clive. I have done a bit of practice and have a setup I am happy enough with.

I was wondering about Simon as I hadn't seen him racing for a while. Good to have him on board.

Simon is more focused on his rc racing at the minute.

Hi all guys! I came back just in time for this event, but I don't know if I will be able to race tomorrow.

However if for you is ok, I' ve seen there are some free places, and I would like to join the event even whithout a complete team (like a wild card or added to the green team with Tibernius).

I was not sure to be in Rome til today to join this event, so I didn't signed up for this cause, but if I have no other "duties" for tomorrow evening I would like to race with pleasure, seeing that the places for the event aren't "sold out" :).

Let me know if for you is ok.

P.S In my first attempt after some laps of training I'm on a high 27 with full tank in practice 1 session. I would like to imagine my laptimes will become a bit better when I'll try in Qualif 1 session... or at least I hope so!

Cu soon!

Hope you can make it tomorrow Manteos, the more racers, the more fun  ;D I'm sure that you and some off the other aliens can manage at 1.25.xx lap on low fuel, when old slowhand Hotkeys has been as close as 1.26.118. ::)

I am very well aware, that a fast qualitime laptime will be of no importance for someone like, I should just focus on staying on the tarmac for 2 hours.
............ stilll, I'd sure to crack a 1.25 lap, just for the heck of it.

I've had a look around and seen some familiar names from the GC P&G races, good to be racing with you guys again :thumbup1:

Did some offline laps this afternoon and came up with a 1:26.7 on low fuel, can't believe how much time can be had just by getting those esses right! Hope to get a decent amount of practice in tomorrow, might be able to shave off a few more tenths.

This track feels much better after Christmas. Perhaps the extra half stone of turkey ballast or the many wasted hours kicking my brothers arse on the awful GT5 has made the difference. Anyways, looking forward to tomorrow :)

I'm finding that my setup really doesn't agree with new tires and low fuel. It is odd that I'm quicker on full fuel than low. With any luck, I'll work on a low fuel setup between now and game time.

I haven't heard any new news on P&G 3 yet.

Thought I was going to have to miss this as my internet/phone line went off completely today for a couple of hours. Been having a few connection problems lately and reported this to BT earlier in the week. Turns out there was a fault, which now seems to have been rectified and I seem to have gained a couple of mb in the process. Good old BT eh

Had a few more laps offline and I'm now at reasonably consistent mid 27s race pace.

Good old BT eh

Something like that.. I got back from a weekend away a couple of weeks ago to find my internet not working. After 20 mins on the phone to the ISP it turns out that BT had changed my phone number while I'd been away :o I kept getting calls for someone called 'Nicky' for a couple of days until they sorted it out.

On another note - managed 1:25.710 offline. There might be a little more there but it's getting far too tricky going into that tight right-hander.

Crashed out into Goldtop on lap 2. The back of his car was just on track and I couldn't avoid it anymore.
Luckily the engine is in the back so it was still running and I made it back to the pit. Did a pitstop of 99 secs and started again.

Unfortunately I made an error on lap 20 (or 22, depends of your position) when I entered the s'es and ruined my suspension.
Had fun till it ended.

Let's move on to the next season / P&G3

WAs doing well in 5th until conn dropped on lap 27. Apart from graphics card lockups, my conn has not dropped mid race for years
something screwy. I would like to reboot the server itself as soon as we can, even PG crappy net code does not usually do this.
I wouldn't hold out too much hope for PG 3 being any better, they seem to be only talking about how wonderfull the 70s cars
will be. No mention of making it work.

My, my..keeping the IROC Porsche on the track for two long hours on a track like this is quite a challenge!

Thanks to all lappers (that's nearly everybody  ;) ) for your patience in the wiggly bits. Quite hard to go off line in a car like this  :sweatdrop: .

Big thanks to Stig for defending Team Oranje's honours.. I guess we weren't a big help  :-\
Thanks also for the setup. Unfortunately I could not test it anymore and a setup switch with only 15 minutes to go wasn't a good plan.

Apols to Lazlow for getting in the way. Saw the three cars in front of you but was not aware of you being the 4Th in a row.. hope I didn't ruin your race.

Top score to teamie Sandor for the special effects. Your crash was quite dramatic.

Thanks all for the driving lessons. Quite amazed of the pace en car handling  :o

So much to learn...

When is the next endurance race?  :-*

otherwise anyone else know how to work around it?

Results Posted above now too :)

p.s. Managed to work out who John_W was... He tried to throw us off the scent, having cunningly dropped the "_" from his driving name. But you've got to get up pretty early in the morning to sneak something like that past us  ;)

I think that the "_" disappeared as part of the attempts to get Mike into the server.  (Keep your mits off Legzy!  He is SBRC if ever I saw one!)

Tony asked that I do a brief race report and I think that I will be announcing a win for Team Black, despite my attempts to drag them down.  I'm just not clear on the points system to be used.

The normal approach in these events is to have an even one point per place and I have calculated the results on that basis but could do with confirmation that I have it right before I publish.

PS  Have a look at John's race history.  It's "digital", all noughts and ones.  ;D

I always hated the IROC, but in this track it's even more detestable. I didn't find the way for a good setup, and it was a needful thing to drive this car on this circuit.
However it was surely not my best night, and I'm beginning to have enough about P&G 2.1... I have to thank Ian that has shortened my suffering sending me into the barrier  ;D. I was really struggling to keep that car on the track, and it wasn't fun at all.
Grats to John for the victory. Grats to the pody, and to all the drivers passed under the checkered flag.

I spoke with Aris 10 days ago, but he didn't say nothing about the release of v3, so my hopes for the xmas were equal to 0 :(.
I guess they're doing a lot of tests for the new 3d models, cause the new physics and tyres, from what I know are ready by months!
I just hope that the people will be patient, and once again, I assure you that your patience will be rewarded with a great work!
Let's hope in a short wait!

I wish to all Simracing.org and especially to the UKP&G guys a HAPPY NEW YEAR
Cu in 2011 ;)

Boo! Where's team woolly woofter!?  :(

I had a great race, I'm still not sure what happened between my first stop and those of Mike and John as I seemed to loose loads of time there.
I actually thought in the race that maybe they managed to somehow stretch to a single stop, but the lap graph seems to say they also did a 2 stop stratedgy.
Shame I dropped back though as it could have been a cracking 3 way battle to the flag otherwise - We all seemed to have different strong points as the fuel/tyres degraded between pitstops that seemed to keep us all on our toes  8)

Excellent race and I must admit I'd like to see more endurance events like it, but realise that wouldn't be popular in a regular series  ;)
Howabout a 2hr Enduro, same cars and rules but at the GTR Evo version* of the Ring next then?  ;D

*I.e. the correct one

It's been like that since I started online racing, there was a reason...but I've long since forgotten what it was!

Also, I've filled in my nationality and driving name in my profile, is there anything else I need to do?

Just finished watching the replay, wow great racing guys. But why is Mike Miller in an Orange car? Must be a replay glitch?

So glad that it appears to have been a successfull event, thanks to Mike for allowing me to run with it.

Perhaps a repeat event on August Bank Holiday Monday Mike? He He.  ;)

Oh almost forgot, grats to Matt and Clive for running this thing in my absence, cheers guys.  :thumbup1:

I just squeaked into the server. I was really having troubles. I even tried different cars. So when I landed a grid spot in an orange car, I didn't dare leave and try again. Many thanks to all who helped me get into the server.

I was hoping to find the last few tenths I was missing in the last turn during the quali session, but 15 minutes wasn't enough to do that.

During the 1st stint of the race, I knew I wouldn't be able to beat John and FMG on pace alone. I originally wanted to change tires in the 1st stop as I had a feeling they'd be threads if not changed the entire race, but based on my pace, I'd have to risk not changing them. My 1st stop was quite a bit quicker than John's. He lally gaggled and took his sweet time entering pit road. I entered full boogie knowing there wasn't a speed limit. My crew also serviced the car quicker, but not quick enough to confirm he took tires.

I left the pit lane with roughly 10 seconds in hand, but I knew John would close the gap before the next stop. Not only did he close the gap, he passed me and opened the gap. I was still losing .5 seconds in the last sector every lap. I was hoping he would change tires.

John hit the pit lane a couple laps before I did for the 2nd stop. While in my stall, I hit the tab key to see the players as they raced by and sure enough, I saw John's car flash by. He didn't take tires. I felt like it was over and then fumbled to refire my car. I lost a few seconds trying to get the key back into the ignition. There was no way I could make an impression into John so I conserved the tires. They were on threads at this point. My only hope at this point would John would suffer a puncture. A few laps later, I was shocked to find John back into the pits. I flashed by getting an second lead with roughly 12 laps to go. He could close the gap. Sure enough, he did so on the penultimate lap getting me in the last turn. I simply had nothing for him on the last lap.

Good race John. Fantastic pace FMG. Congrats to all those who finished and all those who participated in making this an outstanding event. Hope to see you out on track again in the future John. I want another chance.

Is there an option to add the name that you actually raced under?  Just so that I can see Soggy Bottom Racers Club against the race win.  ;D

What a great race, really enjoyed it!

Got a good start and just managed to stay in the lead off the line, Mike and FMG had me on the back foot for a while and it was only after they started fighting amongst themselves that I was able to pull out a small gap on them.

I had a lead of nearly ten seconds when it was time for the first pit stop, but came into pit lane far too hot and overshot my crew by a mile! Decided to carry on and try again next lap, rather than reverse up as there was no speed limit and I only lost a few seconds. Problem was, I then had to fuel save heavily and cut the ignition on the straight to try and eke out that last litre of fuel. Mike cruised by on the entry to pit lane as I coughed and spluttered my way in.

Came back out ten seconds behind Mike and on a bit of a charge as I was annoyed that my own stupidity had cost me the lead. I was originally planning on an early second stop to change tyres, but knowing that I'd thrown away all that time to Mike and the fact the the car was still feeling alright I thought I'd see how it went. Also, I'd noticed that the gap to FMG was staying at a fairly constant 20 seconds and assuming that he'd taken tyres on his first stop, he wouldn't be needing them again and would pass me in the pits if I took tyres.

As it was, I was able to catch Mike again and pass on the straight (shorter gearing was really helping). Built up a small gap again before the second stop and managed to find my crew this time! Fueled and ready for the last stint, all was going well until I noticed that XD was reporting only 7 laps of fuel left, instead of 14. Thought it was a bit strange until the realization dawned that I'd calculated fuel earlier offline (without the multiplier), and was going to have to pit for a third time!

So, third stop out of the way and caution to the wind I somehow managed to catch Mike again on the penultimate lap and scraped a somewhat dubious pass round the outside - Sorry again,  I thought I was all the way through at the time! Held on through the last lap with a rather messy slide through the esses then reached the safety of the straight and then the line. Great awareness and courtesy by those guys that were lapped as well, by the way  :thumbup1:

Grats to Mike and FMG. Thanks for the invite Clive and grats to you and Mark for the team win as well, good driving and team effort  :thumbup2:

Hope to see you out on track again in the future John. I want another chance.

I'm sure you'll get it, Mike ;) especially if you pop over to NG for the GTL/P&G races. Admittedly, I did get quite a lot of practice for this one, so I might not be able to give you such a challenge next time!

I can't usually do Thursdays but will try to pop in if I'm free (racing for SBRC, of course ;D), was good fun racing with you guys.

Cheers
John

I don't think its a problem of not having joined in time as John's racing history shows:
        Team                            Series                            Joined                                         Left
Soggy Bottom Racers Club       all    December 29, 2010, 01:02:24 PM +0000

So it must be that the results don't think that John_W is the same person as johnw?

Anyway, I would like to thank both John and Mark for their efforts in this one and to welcome them both to SBRC.  Whilst I expect the main SBRC effort to come from the stalwarts of Lorenzo, Stig and myself, we do hope to have the odd visit from John and Mark when RL and their other racing schedules permit.

Happy New Year!!!!

Still working on other data and a report of my trip through the sand.  This was a good team effort, with setup and race planning information being swapped at an ever increasing pace as the race approached.  It was Mark's tip of putting the radials on the back to increase the gear ratio that gave John the last half second and no doubt contributed to his own pace too.  I did the whole race on the same set of tyres but spent a lap and a half stuck in the sand.

Can't think what Legzy was up to to let me pass him after that.   ::)

I like to consider myself a setup expert in some shape or form so how did I miss the shorter gearing? I thought these cars had fixed gearing. I knew there were slight differences in gearing between the bias ply and radial tire (presumably different diameter). I chose the bias ply because it was more controllable in a slide. How did you guys get shorter gearing?

I plan to run some NG races in the future John. I have to dance around my work schedule.

The radials gave longer gearing which enabled the shorter final drive ratio to be used without reving the nuts off the poor thing.

sadly mate, I had a few to many excurtions off track & had to stop to repair my front splitter for 40secs, but still did 75% of the distance with a broken suspention, it was just going to take too long to fix. ::)

Quite happy to see the back of the iroc for a while now!

I just used Bias-plies as they handled nicely and revved the nuts off it anyway  ;D
Wish I'd thought of sticking the radials on the rear though as John always had the legs on me into the final turn - we were too close in pace through there (And each used different lines) for me to feel confident of a safe pass when I was near enough..
I also should have only done the 1 tyre change I think, changing on each stop may have kept my laptimes well down (FL was on lap70! :o ) but I spent too long in the pits  :(

RACE REPORT
Analyser report www.planet-venom.co.uk/PnG/IROC Christmas/index.html (http://www.planet-venom.co.uk/PnG/IROC Christmas/index.html).

What a great way to end the year and many thanks to Tony for organising the event.

As you will have gathered from the reports from Mike and John, the scrap for first spot was far from straight forward.  Congratulations to John on his fine win and to Mike for for a hard fought second.  Grats also to Tim in third spot and for his Fastest Lap.  Guess you sneaked some fresh rubber at your last stop.  ;D

Although many people shied away from the IROC and many were less than taken with Riverside, the combination provided a good race and, I think just the right level of difficulty to separate the aliens from the rest and to keep the rest of us occupied as well.  It was a combination that demanded your full concentration for two hours.  (I failed)

Six drivers went the full distance, finishing on the lead lap.  In addition to the top three these were H@L9000, Mark Craggs and API.  No mean feat.

Two drivers were just a lap down, namely Stig and Lazlow, who were also lapping at a rapid rate.

On the team front, Team Black took the honours comfortably with 60pts and three drivers in the top ten.  Team Yellow were second but I think that Legzy and Ade were at the circuit quite late trying to find all the pieces of yellow Porsche.  Should have been a big pile of them at what they call turn six.  Why it's called turn six when it must be at least turn ten is anyones guess.

I am now being shoved off the pc so I will just have to mention how well SBRC have done and to thank the admin fairy who has put John's SBRC membership in place on the results board.

Looks like the Kerb Crawlers are a spent force.  You can't keep proping them up like this Mike.  Come to a proper team.

Happy New Year all!

Captain Black
