Humidity is quite high at the moment - we might end up with a wet race. Too bad Spanner can't make it, he's used to drive in the rain today. ;D
Have to make a few laps later, 60 min feels like a childs game after today's 3 hrs. ;D

I suck at GT1s :( Not sure I've ever had a race with them I've been proud of and tonight was just dreadful. I hope Matt didn't falling off laughing at my total ineptitude. Not sure I'll bother with the rest :(

Couldn't get on with the Lambo here, so made a last minute swap to the Lister. Was having a good race after a disco in quali put me at the back  ::)  Actually managed to overtake a couple of drivers.....in GT1s :o

Pitstop was as ever useless - didn't see the light at the start of the pitzone (cos there wasn't one) and received a stop/go. Went in slow to serve my penalty, but hit my limiter off again while changing down. Decided to bin it.

Bad luck GT. Looked all setup for good race between us in the 2nd half.  :(

Nice race and great fights despite practising for Zolder and not Zandvoort. ::)

I had good duels with Matt, ApextechUSA and GT. The fight with Apextech lasted ages. ;D I could not get passed. Same with Matt. I was trying everything I could with out risking too much. Great stuff. :thumbup1:

Well done podiums, see you next time.

Good race, was almost competitive again, maybe I'm getting the hang of it...
Good battle with HAL in the last few laps, trying to let BUsi and BR through without being passed
HAL was very polite into Tarzan allwoing me to stay ahead. I always seem slow in the final turn onto the straight
here in anything], but quite quick through the rest of the lap.

Phew, what a pace that was. :o Quailified 2nd, with a bit of surprise, though I think with a bit more time Busi would be faster. :) Was glad to get in front of API as in the last seasons he continualy makes better and better results. Tried to stay with Berger in opening laps but he was edging away slowly, not a chance to keep up there. I lost my pody place in the pits, took too much fuel, just enough to allow API to slip through. After that it was a great close race 'till the end. I was a bit faster but not enough to pass. That Ferrari is too fast on a straight and API never did a mistake to allow me closing down and making an overtake attempt on the braking. Great racing, buddy, fast, solid and fair. 8) I must say I was just as exhausted here as after 3 hours of careful driving in GTWeb event. :D

Comparison: I was never as confident in the iCar on the same track. I was constantly on the edge there but fearfuly and was holding back the whole time which meant I couldn't use the sim's possibility in the full and I must say I didn't really enjoy it as much as I did in GTR2. :-\

Funny I felt the complete opposite, probably because of people's generosity, there are shared setups available through the game. I basically had a setup I couldn't drive last night. It was marginally better than the default but not to my liking :(

I learned the track with 3 or 4 laps before the event and during quali LOL

Started 3rd behind Berger and TT. Berger released the limiter way after the s/f line I think? That confused me and hit TT I think, sorry mate :P I made a mistake in the early laps when I was still learning the track, that put me down to 5th. Had a good tussle with Legzy and API, I managed to overtake them but I spent the whole first stint saving a bit of tyres and fuel, so it was a good situation to go for the no-tyre-change strategy.

I leapfrogged TT and came out just 3 seconds behind Berger, who had a small incident just before or after his pitstop.

Both of us had old tyres but the Lister is a bit better in tyre wear so I was able to get close to him. I was right behind with 5 laps to go or so, but then I made the damn stupid mistake of putting a wheel off in the final corner, GRRRRR there goes my chance of a fight for victory, could have been great with Berger :'(

Stayed the final laps behind Matt and H@L who were enjoying a great battle, didn't want to get in that fight so I was running at my 90%. But H@L probably felt he was holding me up and let me through in the last lap hehe :)

Grats Berger and API

A good choice of track!

Had a surprisingly good qualifying with 6th place and started the race with a good scrap trying to keep Matt (I think) behind me.

A seemingly innocuous mistake at the chicane ruined my race as I somehow managed to T-bone the barrier and I had to wait for the rest of the field to pass before I could safely reverse out. :(

Found a lot of time half way through qually, then we seemed to have a start stop start lol

was suprised to be comfortable keeping up with api, it's been a long time since I managed that! Throw Keeping Busi at bay into that mix & it was let's say, a rather entertaining opening 15 mins 8)

sadly, Busi got past and that was the end of my fun except to enjoy driving round what I've always thought is a cracking track.

like busi did say, i did make limiter off to late. i did hit the "pit request" (blue light) button and not the limiter off button.
i have 4 button very close together in wheel, so this happens sometimes (not often) to me. pitrequest, limiter on/iff, light on/off and auto clutch on/off are very close together.

in beginning of race, truetom was close behind me, but later i was able to drive a little away (perhaps he had soft tyres?), in around lap 18 or 19, i did watch what time busi did make pitstop, i was thinking he do make a "no tyre change" stop and lap by lap he did not pit, so i did change my strategy (22lap med med/15 lap soft soft) to a "no tyre change" stop too, and in lap 26? i did come to pitbox, but if i come out of pits, me and other car had a miscalculation (was unlucky situation, can not remeber exactly), so i ended with a big front aero damage, first i was thinking i lost the front splitter because car did not drive in corner, but in xd i saw only a aero damage, because of this situation i lost many time in this lap and after busi come out of pits he was only 3 sec. behind me.
he closed the gap extrem quick and i was sure, that the victory is away, but then i did drive totaly on limit (do not like to drive totaly on limit, often mistakes i do then) and busi was only a little faster, but there was any laps to do, but then he did make a mistake and i had 5 sec. lead, then i did drive race home.
2nd stint was so much hard work with bad tyres and front aero damage a lot. was perhaps a mistake to change strategy, but it is dump to have a good lead (around 14 sec.) and then you know you are perhaps 14 sec. behind this car (22sec. tyres and 6-7 sec. longer stop then lister with 2xfuel) and you must try to overtake again later in stint.

i like this track a lot, and i hope i can drive this track again.
congrats to podium and all other finisher
