Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.

(4) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read

If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Good I'm in 2:40s in the same car  :lol:  :devil: - not too far off your pace.  8)

  :( My PC mother board has developed a fault causing it to run on board graphics only. I will try my old PC but it only has a 7600GT so I may be some what slooooooow.  :-\ If its bad I will retire.  ::)

Turn your ingame graphic option down to peasant level, especialy shadows.

Lost my internet connection. Virgin Media looks a more attractive provided every time this happens.

Was a last minute opportunity to race & it could have been so enjoyable tonight, but span twice at the same place on consecutive laps early on, leaving me last by some distance.
Kept going & caught Tony who also must have taken similar long sight seeing routes... Really enjoyed being stuck on his rear bumper for what, 5 solid laps? I managed to draw level numerous times, but his Merc had extra grunt to spare, making sure he kept ahead on each straight. I piled on more & more close quarters pressure & he finally broke & I was away. Shame really because the race wasn't the same again & I quit 5 laps later, after doing another spin at the same place ::)

I've modified the bare-bones setup I created in my 4 laps I squeezed in during qually, I'll keep that for the next round as it's a nice little car that :)

Just got this message......good advice I just transfered all my settings form my other PC a dual core with a 9800GT. Didn't think that the setting would be as for the busted PC what a fool I am no wonder it struggled.  ;)

 :o What an interesting but hard race. Ade's car was freezing all over the place until he disappeared?  :-\ Then found my self in P2 with a mighty frame out every 2-3 laps giving Geoffers the opportunity to gain in leaps......Why do frame outs always happen in corners?  ::)

Any way I held on grimly till the end which came on the last lap when Geoffers made a brilliant pass. My tyres, PC and concentration were feeling a bit second hand at this point and rather than do some thing fool hardy I gave up the fight.  ;D

Congrates to all whom raced this evil track....Hopefully I will have a new (rebuilt) PC for next time.  ;)

They've been at my horlicks again Tony.  :o Practice and qualifying went well 2 new PBs, but the race  ::) made a reasonable start and went OK for about half a lap when I went off over driving to try and stay ahead of Alex and clipped Armco.  This let Alex by and before I was up to speed an Alpine, virtually every corner after that I went off to outside of track, I'd lost my sharp turn in.  :'(  Struggled into lap 2 but the understeer was too much so I quit.

Start was a nice sight with all those different TR4's on track. Managed to take advantage of some of the offtrack excursions but the track proved to be a steep learning curve.
In the 2nd part Eifel proved to be faster but also went for some off-roading  ;)
Although not door2door stuff it was a great fight to keep banging in consistent laptimes.
Shame about the disco's..

Thanks again to all who showed up. Car choice is still top. Thought the TR4 was hanging in there to the end...

...a race I completely forgot because of elections in Denmark...Denmark lost  :o

That finally was a nice one for me although I ended up as last finisher again.
In the beginning a nice battle with Tony whose 300SL was incredible fast on the straights but
remarkable slow in the corners (btw - the 300SL for me is the only car which does not fit to the rest of the field in GTL cause it's a car from the mid 50's which raced - I think - only in this early period).
After Tony dropped behind I had a short battle with Syd who came up strong and passed me.
After my first turner due to a braking mistake which happened to me more often during the race
I dropped behind Alex. In order to avoid a collision with Alex later on (my fault) I lost the car and fell behind him for around 12 seconds. Fortunately I was able to make up ground and pass him again with constant laptimes. Then my second turner but again I was able to close up to Alex again - I could have passed him but my next mistake occurred and I was again about 10 seconds behind him. Then I remarked that I was going out of fuel (which I had concisely calculated) I had to go slower up to the end.
I would have gone to a pit stop before last lap when I saw NRJ coming from behind during his last lap so I decided to stop an let him lap me to avoid the pitstop  ;D

That really was a funny one. Hope to see more of these. Thanks Tony for organizing all of theses events!
