(4) Drivers may only change car once in the season without penalty.
(5) Drivers are reminded that they must select ISDN as their bandwidth, otherwise the stability of everyone's connection will be reduced.
(6) Please use the Driver Details (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=profile;sa=driver_info) page to ensure that the league management software has your correct GTR2 'Driving Name' (not necessarily the same as your lobby name).
(7) The server will be set to 26 slots, not 28.

With the forum issues & no sign of H@L posting yet, I thought I'd get the ball rolling as we're obviously getting quite close to Sunday.
As it's late in the day, I've gone for a default track that people will be familiar with & given the Super GT's another run out as we've not seen them since mid-December.

Hope that's OK with all, especially H@L. (I tried to pick a track I didn't recall you already having planned for the season :-\)

I have not been able to get on SROuk since last weekend and was probably going to postpone this weekends race without the download links and things available. Just thought I would take a look on line before I crash out tonight (this morning).

for one thing i havent installed the super GT cars, and for another, Mrs Blito is at work all day sunday so i think she will be wanting some fuss and attention come sunday evening..

Well i can only just manage 35s in pretty much all of the them. Havent tried the nissans yet.

Nissan GTR is very stable. :)

1:34.6 in race trim so far, so will be looking to dip into the 33's during the race :angel:

Finally, some real cars...shame they've mangled the GTR. Looks like someone squashed the front of an R34. :thumbdown:
Was looking forward to driving it too, I had an R34 Calsonic Skyline GTR JGTC in Gran Turismo 3. Wonderful car.

Haven't had chance to run these yet, is there any major performance difference between them or are they all about the same?

I'll probably be in either the Takata Dome NSX or the Denso SARD Supra.

They all feel the same and look the same to me. :P I hope high downforce can help us get some close racing. :)

I loved the Denso Sard Supra in Gran Turismo 2 and 3 and I tend to drive it a lot when using the Super GT cars now. ;D 2005 version. I found it a little more twitchy than the GT-R but, more fun as a result.

I can not get bellow 1.35 in race trim at the moment. :hammer:

1st Time I can remember that pitstops worked in my favour. Had not noticed mandatory pit, so was quite surprised
when people started pitting, at 1st I thought maybe they were on softs that were now shot, but then everyone seemed to
be pitting...
I had taken meds and more or less full fuel, so went in for a splash and dash and came out in front of Picnic but
was able tojust hold him off til the end.

Fun race, nice to be back in those cars & been a decent gap since our last race @Hock, so good to be back there too. Considering it was all a bit last minute & wit a mod, turn out wasn't too bad.

Had some good laps with Spanner & a couple with TT, but both were too fast for me... though i managed to finish ahead of Spanner having completed the race on one full tank of fuel (having just changed tyres in the pits) & effectively stole a podium ;D.

Nice race. :) Changed tyres only and was fretting a bit towards the about the fuel - well done Gazza, one more lap might get me behind Legzy. God forbid. :-X Nice close racing with Legzy, Spanner, Lazlow that I remember. :) GTR2 rules. Now that BF3 (http://eastore.ea.com/store/eaemea/en_GB/html/pbPage.battlefield3_EN/?resid=TUyKzQoHAtUAAHSGYSAAAAAG&rests=1297036691649) is comming we might even get our hands on GTR3. Someday. ::)

I tried to join the server last minute and had some strange problem where the game just did nothing for a bit after putting in the password. :(

Hi all, got GTR2 all working again, and finally found some good settings as in practice i was only 3-4secs lap of most of you, I didnt have any setups, so that would put me about there.

Interesting race for me but clearly my usual plan isnt helping lol. I find these cars quite light on the tyres, and tend to run softs during practise so come the race i'm loathed to put meds on. Always enjoyed Hockenheim and was pleased with a half decent qually time, sadly behind my usual nemesis Legzy. From my calcs i could do it on 100L and felt the softs wouldnt really last behind half distance so decided to split the fuel meaming less weight and hopefully minimise wear on the tyres. It was going to work as well!

 Early on i was stuck behind Legzy but managed to get past at the hairpin then surprisingly i was catching TT and Laz  at some rate and got on the back of TT and after a mistake from him in the first corner hoped to get up the inside at the next corner but I guess it probably wasnt on and so nudged TT around. Waiting for him to recover meant Legzy got back past but managed to get back past again!

Though he was on my tail as we piytted but my longer stop dropped me about 20 secs behind, and right at the back :(

Caught nsfast though i think i scared him off! and was gaining slowly on Picnic and Matt. But the race ended just as we were all closing up. Another lap...sigh...

Or perhaps just a bit more practice - I used the default setup last night ;) I'm too stupid to know what I need to do to make a better one :(
