(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules (https://www.simracing.org.uk/index.php?pid=7) especially the rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Power and Glory v2 from here (http://www.gtlw.co.uk/), 2.1 patch from here (http://www.gtlw.co.uk/) and enable terrain patch.
(4) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=LM2R;group=235;theme=34)
(5) Drivers are reminded that they must select ISDN as their bandwidth, otherwise the stability of every-one's connection will be reduced.
(6) Remember that P&G has no 'Pit Speed Limiter' function, but our gentleman's agreement is that everyone will stick to a speed limit for the pit-lane of 40mph/60kph.

One borrowed from Legzy's hall of fame. This time we run less power and more agility.
If it runs anything like the last incarnation it will be a cracker!

I'm not normally a fan of 906s but here the 906-8 is a joy.

Ah, well done Matt. Cracking track this, great for "hangin' your butt out" sideways round the corners

plus, having spent a fair bit of time testing so many tracks, it's great to see some of them get used again :)

Nice track (but with a few "bugs" if it version 1, not 1.1).
Very odd that it completly removed from NGR. I hope the problem I met when last time race here will not be actual (5th posting on 1st page (http://race2play.com/schedule/show_event/5345#postrace)).
Anyway, time to test my cheat (same link, 3rd page, 5th posting). Joke. ;D

OK, Thanks for the heads up Miguel
I have not tested tyre wear, but  pit stops are not expected, so not likely to be an issue
If it's a known bug, and there is a fix, we will run the fixed version. (Assuming I can find it)
We ran this version previously without problems, and I assumed it would be ok this time.
EDIT: I have obtained the 1.1 version from esportracing.de. I will test it with a view to
using it. As far as I know practice times will be unaffecte3d, it appears to be just a fix
for the pit stall bug that Miguel has pointed out.

"What's new in version 1.1?
- pitlane object fix. xpitin and xpitout files moved so
track works better with 'full' grid..."

ah, even better if next week! just managed to sneak in half hour praccy. Nice track, perfect for vintage racing  :)

1:24's so far but still learning the ideal drift !  This track is made for some oversteery 911's  :o

Please NOTE:
Track version changed to v1.1 due to pit stall problems.
I have tested the track off line and it seems exactly the same to drive as the v1.0
I will update Practice server with the new version.

I hope this one will be non-champ race too. ;)
Annoying car: while trying get out understeer gets wild oversteer. Le Mans oriented mutant... ;D
So far in low 23's (2 from 3 high 22's ending with offroad excursions).

It is non champ (It's in the title) I am rubbish at rear engine cars, I am doing 24s and the car feels just right here
some understeer, with some power on oversteer out of the last turn. also drop a gear and the back will kick out nicely
Maybe your  :alien: setup is too hard at rear or soft at the front? being as I can't do Porches I tend to make the
front hard, so I can get round without falling off all the time.

Don't like this car much either, but if you guys don't get any faster, I might be able to keep up with you.

I'm at 1.22.000 on race fuel, but surely the aces will get 1.20.xx laps or even go below 1.20.00

I will try to focus on not to mess with those clamps behind the regular curbs though . . . . .  they will finish off your car instantly  :o

It is non champ (It's in the title)
Want to hide something - put this in the title.

too hard at rear or soft at the front?

Nothing :alien: in my setup, Stig proved it. :D
I begin from equal hardness of front and rear springs and not going farther than 1-2 clicks in common cases. Next are ARB. But for this car/track too hard to find satisfactory combination.
Anyway - it's good, that this race are not in championship, I'll save my time. ;)

aces will get 1.20.xx laps or even go below 1.20.00

I hope you're wrong (or, I'll turn out one from theirs). ;D

Well I am amazed  :o. I have never got on with this car, hated it, but I thought I'd give it another try & on this circuit it is brilliant fun. I used the default setup & after half a dozen laps & a small tweek on the brake bias I managed 1.22.3! Now all I need to do is make a few setup adjustments & make the car undriveable

Hello chaps!

Came back after my italian ROTW P&G champ, I'm ready to race again here with all of you!

The car/track combo is a real fun, but I needed some train to turn with a good pace. After an hour, I adjusted my setup, and I've finally managed a good 1.21.200 with 55 litres, but it was in Practice 1 session. I guess that in race session with a bit more grip it's possible to go down to a 1.20.xxx.
However, I was driving with the white spot, and probably they won't last til the end of the race... So tomorrow, I'll give a chance to the yellow spot to see what happens.

I'm really happy to be here again, I missed you a bit and I missed your way of racing! My Italian champ was a bit too "professional", and the racing mood is totally different... Too much competition for my taste... I need a bit more relaxing races... and this is the right place  ;)

I hope to be in time to race on Thursday!

Cheers :)

P.S. Legzy, I'm still enlisted in the Oldie Team or you fired me for my absebce?!?!  ;D ;D

Good to see you back in our ranks Manteos, you are of course always welcome, and have been missed  :(
Hopefully you may bring some of your slower friends with you?  ;)
I personally miss the "White Pig"

I am still languishing in the low 24s. I should do some more practice myself.....

I have all the time I could possibly ask for to practice for this race, I'm down to 1.22.200 on the yellowspottyres and 65 ltr's of fuel ....... but argg.... all to no good, since I can't make the race after all  :-[

I'm really sorry about that :'( I think you guys are gonna have a great race.

I also think that someone wil break that 1.20.000 barrier real soon ;D

Funny guy!!!  ;D ;D

I personally miss the "White Pig"
LOL I forgot the "white pig" Mr. Google Translator "King"  ;D ;D
It's a pity, cause we have lost the track of King several months ago...

For the moment, I think I will be the only one left of VDA guys to play again the P&G 2.1... They are waiting as everybody the v3.0... but they abandoned the idea to play with the 2.1 :(. I'll try to persuade someone to join your races again, but another GTR2 champ is about to begin and I think they will probably join it.
At the opposite I'm tired to play GTR2... so I came back to my old dear P&G  ;D

Thanks again for your welcome guys :) Cu tomorrow... or maybe after dinner for some tests... let's see.

Connection lasted qualification and 7 laps. Pity. I'd love to have whole race with those thoroughgoing guys which begin race from quli and doing race as diehard WTCCers.

good challenging race that, you couldnt relax your concentration for a moment or it was off time...as i found out twice  :-[ though to be fair one of them was listening to legzy on TS and missing my braking point completely. ::)

Had some good early fights and a good race long battle with Matt, who eventually got by me after that off. I chased after him hard, but he appeared to up his pace some more and i couldnt make any in-roads. Then with about 7 laps remaining he had some kind of incident ahead, re-caught him then he retired...damage? Fulvio kept a steady watching brief behind  me for many laps but i eventually pulled a gap.

Then i became aware of a fair old ding dong going on ahead with Geoffers and Clive and i soon took 10 secs off their lead. Then on the last lap they were both rejoining from the grass just ahead of me and i whipped by Geoffers onto clives tail, but he sped off up the s/f straight.

Was very pleased with 6th  :)

Results and Replay In The Tundra
My apologies Marco, I forgot to post the password for the race, it seems you figured it was the usual one  8)
Was having fun towards the rear, but, despite reminding people about fuel...... I put in enough and some
more for 20 laps....... lap 2 I looked at laps count 30!!!!! arghhh, tried to go in pits with 1 lap of fuel
remaining and missed the entrance, went round in high gears and ran out just at the pit entrance
Ah well, fun while it lasted.

Sorry Miguel, it was me the "latebraker" of the second lap, but I've totally lost my braking point (the white wall on the left  ;D)... it was totally my fault. I have to be more safe during the first laps with cold tyres and brakes :(

However it was a funny race. Good fight with Paulo and Geoffers, but I have some contacts even with their car, even if I don't think to have been unfair in those cases. I guess they didn't leave me enough room, even if I was already side by side on the inside line, so the contacts were both unavoidable judging "live" both the episodes by the cockpit. Obviously that was my first impression. I will check the replay, and in the case I was wrong, I will have no trouble to apologize.

However the next time I have to be more quiet... I risked too much in this race.

Grats to ade for the victory, and Marco for the second place :)
See you for the next. Bye bye :)

Don't worry Matteo! I have done there exactly same thing once. Lack of landmarks and low grip (out of racing line) provokes such mistakes. :)

Good car/track combo, really enjoyed the 906/8 for once.

Race went quite well at the start & I got up to 2nd due to a few people going off. Had PR pressuring me for a few laps until Marco got past him & then passed me on the straight with ease (why are my P&G cars so slow on the straights?). Manteos then got ahead of PR & caught up only to spin me out at T1. Thought I was clear of you Manteos when I tightened my line, but obviously not! ::)  This allowed PR & Clive to get past me too.

Chased Clive down & got ahead when he ran wide at T3 & set about catching PR. Unfortunately ran a bit wide at the final turn a couple of laps later & Clive regained the place. Then had a great battle with Clive for the rest of the race. However I got a bit overeager a couple of times & bumped Clive off, very sorry about that Clive :-[. The second time, on the final lap, allowed MJ to nip past while I waited for Clive to rejoin  ::)

All in all a fun race.

Congrats to the podium

Manual gears can make a big difference to how quick it will get up to speed on the straights
I am constantly being mugged by manual gear types, partly because of the faster and
more violent change up they get, and partly 'cos they get a better run onto the straight
I try it occasionally but can't do it everywhere in all cars. I ran manual at Rouen in the Jag
and made up 3 or 4 places by the 1st corner!

No problem Geoffers.

I was feeling quite guilty about being in your way but I was pedalling as fast as I could.

I hadn't done any practice and had only just downloaded the track on Thursday evening.

I did some off-line practice with a Le Mans setup and then joined Ade on the server.  Watching him do a lap gave me a rough idea of where 4th and 5th should be and I just plodded on from there.

5th was a good result in the circumstances.

Must just say that I was most impressed with Geoffers' first passing move.  Guess I had made a big enough error to give him a gap.  I had just gone a tad wide on the entry to T3 and the next thing I knew was he appeared alongside.  My other errors either didn't happen or were less than Geoffers expected.  ::)

Unofficial LapChart (http://www.justanotherpage.nl/Srou/PnG/KeimMay11/)

Only Gentleman Driver on the grid.. what can I say?

Fulvio and Legzy kept me company for first part.. shame Legzy quit, liked out little dragraces.
Mind started to wander off and ran out of asphalt several times  :(

I think Ade has officially attained 'Pro' status; guess he has to go on an Italian course right now  ;)

I have checked the replay, and I have to admit that the touch with Geoffers was absolutely my fault  :-\ :-\.

He had the line right cause he was in front, and he didn't tight his line, but it was my bad if we had a contact. So I apologize with you, It was a wrong move not to wait you during the race :(. I was doubtful if I had to wait, and I waited a bit to see if you recovered your car... Than I decided to go on... Bad decision mate... I apologize again ;(

I try it occasionally but can't do it everywhere in all cars. I ran manual at Rouen in the Jag

I was using manual gears/clutch on the straight but turning them off again for the twisty bits. Like you Matt I can drive some cars manual but others I use auto-clutch. I can only guess it is to do with my toe settings which scrub off speed. Also could have been different gear ratios as PR wasn't able to pass me on the straight.

No worries about the bump Manteos, although I must admit I was a bit unhappy at the time!
