I just can't make these new 20:30 start times, so I guess I'll be missing out. :'(

The normal 20:40 start means I don't get to qually, but at least I'm on the grid.

Have fun all.

m'eh should be using Evo for this. Had a cracking race here in GTpro.

Each to their own  ;)

Don't like this track, really. Don't know which car to take. Marcos is desperately out of pace here, can't steer the bull anywhere. ::)

Its hard to unlearn the full version so still miss the first corner if i'm not paying attention. Tried a few cars out, C6 was great out of the box, MC12 was fun but the rears where twice as fast as the fronts so will be interesting! What ever car i tried i was doing a high 19 or low 20.

Wish I could make this one, but it's looking unlikely atm. This is the layout from the F1 88 season, so a good chance for a low speed practise run

Managed a few laps in the Ford GT, lapping in the mid 17's...wing setup is a bit scary though, I'm running 1-2 wing :o

Low 18s for me in the Viper, wing 2 - 4.

The track feels like it is built in the middle of a giant gravel trap. ;D

Looking more likely for this now  :) Looking at the times and the fact that I've not yet practised, I'll be taking up my usual position.

Enjoyed that. Took my default 550 as it's the only thing I can drive half decent in GT1, and for a change it was competitive!
changed everything at the pits stop, oil, water, brake fluid, tyres, pollen filter, 66 sec stop, but had fresh tyres for the second half
so went for it, as with others I kept getting the fast right at the end of the straight wrong, Laz pitted twice it seemed?
managed to keep him behind despite him getting alongside once. Good solid pace from Legzy, with the usual 2 second pitstop  :o
Great race.

F550 was a bit neglected in past (by me) so I decided to take it. Was ok, normal behaviour and quick, good handling - at least here. Nailed a rare pole for me and was doing ok in the race until pitstop. H@l jumped in front as he didn't change tyres and was very accommodating in letting me stick my nose inside the corner. Would be rude not to take invitation. :-* Pesky Legzy was on my tail for the remaining of the race, using my slipstream. :nono: Great final speed of C6R, I wonder how would Marcos fare instead of F550. Well, I made a mistake 3 laps before finish, slipped of track and couldn't get back in front. Grats Legzy, great pace. :)

Nice flow of the track. Frankly, I like it much, much more than the modern one. :-\

Great race.

I did well to hold off legzy in the first half and was ready to do it to TT and Legzy in the 2nd after getting them both in the pits. However, as soon as they caught me I fell off the track, doh!

Unlucky Lazlow.

F1 88 cars will be very nice indeed here. :)

Had done zero practice & jumped in the Vette with 20mins of practice & then qually to create a setup from scratch & re-learn the track.

Qualified 2nd last (9th) with my still 'work in progress' race setup, with pretty low expectations for the race.

I don't know hat to say about the race, other than I have never driven that well, I felt 100% in control of the car at all times & had some amazing bumper to bumper (but never touching) racing, particularly being glued to the rear of H@L in the 1st half & then after exiting the pits & being beaten to T1, enjoyed immensely 12-15 laps of ridiculously close racing (but never touching) with TT, pressuring him on every turn till he choked ( ;)) with just over a lap to go.

Fantastic stuff guys & unlucky TT/H@L/Lazlow (who would have been right in the mix too if not for needing two pit stops).

Sadly, I'm sure I'll be back to normal next week :scooter:

So what we doing on Sunday then H@L?
Season kicking off again or another fun/test event?

I'm on the late shift next week & next weekend, so this will be my last race for 10 days! :'(

Don't care what it is, even Gt3's at Donni!
