Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules (https://www.simracing.org.uk/index.php?pid=7) especially the rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Power and Glory v2 from here (http://www.gtlw.co.uk/), 2.1 patch from here (http://www.gtlw.co.uk/) and enable terrain patch.
(4) P&G has no 'Pit Speed Limiter' function. You may go as fast as you like in the pits, but please exercise caution. Penalties will be handed out for causing contact in the pit lane. Use your best judgement when making your pitstop during the race.

Where might we find this track then?

I can see a Mexico City 1988 (v1.0.0.0) but no '67.  Since we have three cars and who knows how many variants/tyres/etc., it would be nice to get the ball rolling.

The installer has been uploaded and the server is started. The installer uses the same files that were linked to no-grip earlier.
Sorry I haven't been around much lately. I've been working in New York 3 days a week for the last month.

One and the same. It is a nice circuit. I think the hairpin is one of the tightest in motorsports.

Identical Burt, but here the Polos don't bite!  Which I think is a bit of a shame.

CORRECTION:  Most of them don't bite!   ::)

Not turned a wheel here with these cars yet.
Should be around to start the server no worries.
What sort of times are people geting?
I would default to the ferri for this, but I don't need much excuse
to run the Aussie Mustang.

Sh.. - was fun to drive but I touched the wrong key (esc) and was kicked out of the game.

It seems that there are hard times to survive at the moment.

Sorry Legzy for touching you during one of the first laps.

CU next time

Early exit for me  :( Came across a stationary Miguel sideways in the middle of the track and had nowhere to go but straight into him ::) Had no enthusiasm to continue.

Just one of those things SK :)
Was a shame, because I think you, me & Syd were just about bang on pace together. Could have been a corker!
In the end, after you dropped out, I had to settle for trying to catch Syd, needed another couple of laps :'(

I do like that track, very good for hanging the rear end out endlessly ;D

lol, looks like I enjoyed practising for my 1st outing at Mexico nine months back in GTL too:

WOW. Just banged in 15-20 laps & it's a corka!
I agree with Matt that there are a two or three places where the cut tracks are over harsh (particularly on the out side of some corners ???), but it's a truly fab track & is perfect for the CSL 8)

Mexico was my first ever on-line race in GPL and I have to say that I have a bit of a soft spot for it.

Great result for SBRC with a fantastic win for John, a second for me (+28sec) and a great 5th for Syd, keeping Legzy at bay.

Geoffers had me under pressure the whole race and I was more than a little pleased to see the chequered flag.

I had a good start and was past Manteos off the line but the power of the Shelby saw him back in front by T1.

Tequilas all round in the SBRC motorhome tonight!

You'll no doubt be pleased to learn that in the team championship (only), I'll be awarded points as if I finished 4th ;D
This is because only the 1st two drivers of each team are valid point scorers.

p.s. If Geoffers was not a member of any team, I'd have been pushed up to 3rd (in team point scoring only).
p.p.s. I knew you'd be pleased. :P
p.p.p.s. But yes, it was a good night for the Saggy Bottoms.

Yeh, I chased the whole race & never did get close enough to attempt a pass. For the first 3/4 of the race I seemed to be consistently 2s behind with Ade around 4-5s behind me. In the last 1/4 Ade made a mistake & dropped to about 9s back & tenth by tenth I started to gain on Clive until I got on the grass exiting T4 & lost a couple of seconds, pulled it back over the last 3 laps but was still about 1s adrift at the flag. Great driving Clive, never made a mistake I could capitalise on! ::)

Congrats to John :alien: & Clive  :thumbup2:

I had a slow start so a couple of cars passed me before T1, then I had a great battle with Matt after my half spin at hairpin L1 that cost me 3 spots more. The Mustang ATCC was faster on the straight and my GT350 was faster in the twisty bits so it was hard work to pass Matt till he faulted a gear, I think, out of the hairpin. We did side by side from T1 to the hairpin  :o  :)
Later when I was catching Ade I had two big slides out of Peralta, the first put me on the pit rail without too much time lost, the second put me over the rail in the pitlane  :o
The following lap with a quite damaged car I got a BF for cutting and limped to the pit for S&G unaware that there was a pit speed limit so I got another S&G on the final lap and lost a lot of positions.  :'(
Anyway good fun.  :)
Ciao

First Stop & Go for cutting the track, than another Stop& Go for exceeding pit lane max speed... 40 km/h limit..............

Seems that I'm unable to finish a race in this period... it's better if I take a small break for some days.

Cu at the end of next week I guess ;)

Similar story for me, and I should know better
Had seen cut track warnings in prac, so stayed safer in race
and still got a stop/go, and then speeding in pits
up to then had been good, dicing with Fulvio with some
very grown up side by side stuff as he said, and with no
contact I was aware of, good driving.

I was sweating cobs at the end of that race.  I was really hoping that Ade would start to give you some agro and let me sneak off but it never happened.
My tyres were just about shot at the end and I was being very careful at T1 so that I stayed clear of the Armco.
Interestingly, Ade and I were the only two drivers not to have cut the track at some point.  I guess that Matteo racked up three cuts on lap one but then he did have John all over him at the time and that can be a tad distracting.

Sorry to hear that Manteos, it was shaping up to be a good race until you had to pit  :(

Tricky track, this one. Clipped the polos a couple of times just as I was pulling out a lead. Clive must have wondered what I was playing at, keeping seeing me at T1  ;D

I was really under pressure when you was behind me, and in the mixed part of the track, the forced choice for the final gear of the GT350, was really penalizing at the exit of the hairpin, cause it takes a long time to accelerate under torque. That caused some mistakes at the exit of the subsequent left corner, that I approached on the inside line with the result of going wide every time, jumping the "sidewalk" at the exit a couple of times if I remember well. The second time I received the s&g. However I was exploiting all the track too badly, to say the least ;D ;D
I should have some training session before the race for the next... and maybe I could have the chance to see the checkered flag :)

Cu  :)
