Title: Next season?
Post by: spanner on June 24, 2011, 04:24:23 PM +0100
I'm thinking of taking the Touring cars global 8) Using STCC2 cars i think will provide a wider selection of cars and i want to use more of the WTCC tracks and some of the STCC tracks as well. I'm not sure how some of them will allow for some decent racing though.

Beforehand though i also want to run a few races using some of the other cars. The WTCC extreme cars and radicals come to mind.

Sorry to be negative but not sure. Though ive enjoyed the TC races so far for close racing, i am by no means a touring car fan really, so not sure i want to pump another 10 for a few more tin tops and unknown scando tracks, especially since we still arent managing more than 10 drivers per race on average  :(  May do, but can enjoy fuller GT races elsewhere and wont cost me anything, sorry to say.

stcc2 gives you this for 10euros :-

STCC The Game 2 cars:
 •Opel Astra
•VW Scirocco
•Toyota Corolla T-Sport
•Chevrolet Cruze
•Alfa Romeo 156
•BMW 320si e90 2008
•BMW 320si e90 2009
•Chevrolet Lacetti
•Honda Accord Euro-R
•Volvo C30
•Seat Leon TSFI
•Volvo S60
•Chevrolet Camaro Gen4
•Chevrolet Camaro Gen5

•Volvo 240 Turbo Gr A (Bonus Content)

•Volvo 850 BTCC (Bonus Content)
•Volvo S40 BTCC (Bonus Content)

STCC The Game 2 tracks:• Falkenberg (Sweden )
• Göteborg Eco Arena (Sweden)
• Jyllandsringen  (Denmark)
• Karlskoga (Sweden)
• Mantorp Park (Sweden)
• Ring Knutstorp (Sweden)

For even less value for money, you get the Wtcc2010 for 10euros :-

WTCC 2010 cars:
•Chevrolet Cruze
•Chevrolet Lacetti
•Seat Leon TDI
•BMW e90 320si

WTCC 2010 tracks:

Horse Dead A Flogging

Rearrange those words.
:-\

As I've said before, I've got nothing against it (it drives fine etc.), but surely it's just splitting the drivers even more & interest does not seem sky high :-\ (if you discount iRacing MJ ;))

I'm up for anything FWD, can't get my head around RWD. Got all Race 07 and Add-ons.

Also I've noticed this site is British based racing, so if you are interested in mods I am working on a Mini Cooper UK 2011 series and Renault Clio cup 2011 series, also I've nearly completed a UK Alfa Romeo Championship Association (ARCA) 2011 series.

well i'm a gt fan but i would say the TC races are proving just as 'popular' as any other racing sim on here these days attendance wise, and with its great close racing and popularity, has the opportunity to have improved grids here if we push it more and advertise it elsewhere. How about sticking ads over at gamers crib etc like i did at No-grip? Other sites like advertising their races on here so they can return the favour  :)

Well you would hope so wouldn't you, however my experience with other sites would paint another picture, no names, but some will delete your post's with no warning, others will claim your spam? Most will welcome your post so there is hope for our community. Best practise is to post first of all asking if it's ok for you to post promoting your race series.

True, hadn't figured that. I just see that these races have about as many people as UKF1'88 gets for practice nights sometimes :P ;)

err...like the 1 driver less than your race tonight?  ;) If you had turned up last week it would have been 12 in each  :-* Anyway, more the merrier in all the races. I would have probably joined in the F1 if i hadnt had other racing clashing with it and a ton more spare time!
