Pit Stops: You must make a minimum of one pit stop during which you must take on at least 1 litre of fuel and/or change at least two tyres. You cannot take a mandatory stop at the end of the pace lap, or with less than 1 lap to go.

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page

Special Notes: The grid procedure for Race 07 events is slightly different from GTL/GTR2. Upon joining the grid, you won't be able to rev your engine until all drivers are present on the grid. Do not attempt to esc back to garage or you will be DQ'd.

hehe, conversly i really liked the Rads in IR and didnt think much of them yonks ago in Race when we tried them  :P But i had an older rig when we tried them in Race, so be interesting to try them again nowadays.

I guess we also need the GT Power addon for the track?

Opps forgot that we dont actually have these installed on the server. Getting ahead of myself.

As an emergency measure i'll change it to run the full Oulton park track. Ran it in a few cars and wanted to run it with something else.

I'll try and join you guys for this quite enjoyed the Rads, if I can get my Race 07 Evo to launch, neither Race 07 or Evo launch in Steam... or short cut, any one else having trouble..?

been a few steam client and race/evo updates lately JPS, so expect thats the big problem. Go into your steam account and check the tabs for one that does the client updates etc first then make sure you have latest race/evo patches.

Thanks Mark got it going, will go and do some practice I will be racing under the name Paul McQueen, its what I used at R2P

This track is it one of the stock tracks or do i have to download it from somewhere, cant see it in the listing??
Plus can't seem to get XD working now, not a big deal but would be nice.

You will need the latest version of XD due to software updates.

erm...2 questions:- 

1) which of the 3 types of SR3 are we using?

and 2) where is the Oulton park track? I dont have it in my Race/evo/gtp/retro track selections, looked under every heading ???

4 laps done and managed a 1:30 on default setup

Server is now up.

Best to check the settings before it's restarted though.

well that was a waste of half hour of my life.

Dont know what happened at the start. ??? Sat waiting on the grid then the cars automatically moved forward under ai control, next i feel a thump and pitch straight into the armco without any steering input from me ! Suspension damage before ive gone 5metres  :laugh:  Saw Jamera also get instant DNF

These dont do it for me, especially with a crappy (as predicted) turnout  >:(  Also think a 25min race is more than adequate in these things unless you can somehow conjure up a decent grid...6 isnt.  40mins with 2 guys out of the race within the s/f straight   ::)

Dunno what happened there, tried to join the grid with 30 secs to go and the button was greyed out, didn't matter how many times I tried to click it just wasn't having it

Weird start as MJ said. I think neither Picnic or myself realised it would do the "player has control" type start
Had some fun chasing then taking it in turns to fall off with JPV
Was quite fun cars to drive I thought. Oh and I didnt read the pitstop bit.

Well, I had a good time. ;) Too bad about the low and then lower grid. :P Pitstop here is not necessary unless you do 2x fuel usage and 2x tyre wear.

Had some good chasing with [SJ]MBMAC until he smacked into something and quit. ;)

Grids will stay low if new comers can't sign in because of unexplained password issues.

Well  RL has got in the way for me so you might have to put up with the haphazard organisation for a little while for the next week and a bit while i try and find some work now my contract's ended.

Any thoughts on the cars or track? Would like to use the track for the TC's
