All up-to-date again I think.

Ade and Morten - are you planning to take part in the current Skip Barber league? I'm  just trying to get an idea of numbers. Ta.

I'm not sure. I'm currently involved in another oval league, and you know the ongoing iSeries, but if the server isn't full, I'll like to see if I get the time. So you don't have to leave any room for me if there are others who want it. I am tempted, so it's only down to time.

Finally figured this one out. It got a bit easier when I formatted, and installed Windows 7. Hadn't installed many programs before this thing started happening again.

Believe it or not, it was indeed Logitech Profiler. If I use the Windows recovery thing and go back to before I installed the Profiler, it's fine. But as soon as I reinstall it, it starts back up with those funny symbols.

I'm just happy that I can finally send this to a support service. So awaiting reply from Logitech.

I'm still active, and I'd like to think I'm slightly a member here still.

Finally mine is ready to be packed, so not much longer now I guess.

Hope not Paul the first line of the survey reads

As a past subscriber to iRacing.com we wanted to ask you a few questions about the service that will help us make iRacing a better product.

I think my read the same, but I'm not only a past member but a current member. So you can still get the survey even when you're subscribing.

Best defence is a good offence. So I drive offensive instead Wink
7  SimRacing In General / iRacing / Re: New iRacing pricing! on: October 16, 2009, 05:19:54 PM +0100
I can see that now. I actually got it $3 cheaper as there are no credits with the new system. I thought there still was free credits. Won't earn much as I concentrate on one series, but it's still something.

And I will get refund on extra, so I should get a good bargin.

I'm surprised they have decided to backdate the new rate on content and would not have blinked an eye if they had not.

I've bought some content within the 90 days so I will get a little unexpected and welcome bonus.

If my sub is not discounted I really would not mind. If the credit levels are not like for like, it's not a straight discount anyways.

I bought a year at the old rate, and I would be pissed if I didn't get anything back. Unlucky for me I'll only get 50% of the difference, but I'm okay with that.

Yes, the Pro drivers ready for demotion, is no supprise. Many has saved SR from their earlier series, and with race splits they've been in safer races. But saving SR from lower series will only get you so far. Some drivers are also running TT to improve their SR, which probably will get boring after a while.

Meant 5 positions, not 5 laps of course  laugh
14  Everything Else / Real World Racing / Re: mighty, mightier, mightiest, suzuka on: October 04, 2009, 01:05:43 PM +0100
One of the reasons F1 is so boring might be the kind of penalties they hand out: 5 laps down on the grid for going flat out through a accident with yellow flags. If they instead slowed down they'd be far more than 5 positions down, so how can they call this a penalty?
 no
15  Everything Else / Real World Racing / Re: Renault under investigation for Singapore 2008 result on: September 14, 2009, 11:38:25 PM +0100
I expect Renault to not get blame. This is clearly the 3 guys mentioned acting on their own. Renault can't be kept responsible for their actions, as even the engineers didn't have a clue. I expect these 3 guys to get a life suspension.
