I've not registered for the sprint series.....but if there is likely to be any space (at the back) on the grid, I would love a run out ?

no, not available..It's just a cheap wheel and pedals by Trust: (Spiker F1 sponsors).. only cost 30 quid so I dont expect too much.....

I will upgrade and get some better stuff soon...this is ok for now and hopfully learning on this (the hard way) will make it easier (or faster) when I upgrade.

Would love to try this....but when I have throttle on....I've no brakes....and vice-versa.
Just upgraded all my hardware......H/Drive....Processor....M/Board...Graphics...etc etc...Maybe it would be cheaper buying a REAL VERTIGO?

arr I see....didn't know that...I realised the tyres were pre heated in TT but thought the grip would be about the same as after a couple laps free practice...

That doesn't seem too bad then...my times are acceptable during a weekend race....Cheers again Ruskus..

Hey Ruskus...didn't scare me really....only joking.....I appreciate the help very much....shaved 5 seconds a lap since yesterday by following you around in TT.....would have taken me a month without that...so thanks again....
 

I've just been trying Simon's setup.....It shouldn't work by the look of it....but it does...I have intigrated some of the settings from it into my own setup and just managed a 2:02:9 

Problem is however, I'm still lapping too slow on my own, without your TT lap......Ah well, looks like another sleepless night.

and thanks Simon...been hard at it all day and managed to get down to a 2:03:6 in TT following Ruskus...using a setup of my own.

Just downloaded yours so I will give it a go after my pit stop (got to eat at sometime  ) see how it compares.

are you lot just trying to get me even more worried

first it was 2:04 ish for a quali lap

then 2:02 was mentioned

now your doing 2:00 with the possibillity of 1:59 **£"£$@

thought I was doing well getting my time down to 2:06

I'm pretty new to GTR2 and Simracing in general....so I am looking for any tips and information regarding set ups for cars all you experienced folk may be willing to share.

I am not looking for actual setups for certain cars or tracks etc. but your views on the best methods and practices for setting up my own cars. I am pretty familiar with motec...and understand most of the technical stuff, however I have no idea how to go about setting a car up, in a methodical and logical way.

Any views, tips or insider information would be greatly appreciated

Hi all,,, Ok I'm totally new here so be prepared for all sorts of numb questions! 

I would be interested in joining in, if there is room, and if you are all good enough drivers not to knock me off the track each time you lap me !!
My problem is .....HOW.....(said I was new). Please explain the details of what software/addons are needed and exactly how I go about registering. (said I was numb too).
