IPD/A adjustment is done through the software, rather than physical adjustment. GamerMuscle did a try out of the Rift S and said that the image was much sharper, with next to no screen door effect.

Download Oculus Tray Tool, tick the relevant box and it will make your system revert to your Windows default sound option when you close the Oculus app.

UKPnG / UKPnG Announcements / Re: P&G 3 now out

Quite impressive. Downloaded through Rapidshare and it took a total of about 3 hours. I agree that the FFB is better than the previous version. Car handling isn't bad - seems to be more sideways weight-shifting modelled. Haven't raced for a long while - do we need any special downloads to race on the servers these days. I noticed that the release notes state that the 1.1 patch and lobby fix are included in the game.

Everything Else / Chit Chat / Re: Buying a new car online

I bought a new Mazda MX-5 online in 2001 from the then DC Cook's franchise. The car was sourced from Belgium and guaranteed to be Britih spec. DC Cooks fixed all the paperwork and did exactly what they promised. Had no problems at all and saved almost £5000. Also had no problems when the time came to sell the car.

Race '07 / Race '07 Series / Steam and Race etc

I've had Race 07, Evolution, Race On for ages and have used them and added to them with no problems. Now I have bought a new computer with Windows 7 and I signed o to Steam in the usual way and then downloaded all my software(with add-ons ) from them. I have all the original DVD's but it seemed easier and more convenient to do it all through Steam.
Everything runs ok, but when I wanted to add new track/cars as normal - there's no GameData folder anywhere in my Steam files. Has anyone had this problem. I still have my previous computer with the original GameData folder. Is the solution just to copy it and paste it into my new Steam files?
Cheers

When I had problems with my G25 (ages ago) it turned out that I was trying to draw too much power from the USB ports. I got a powered USB hub and it cured the problem.

SimRacing In General / Race - the WTCC game / Re: Race 07 GT Power expansion pack..

No. you buy it on RaceRoom and they give you an activation code. You shoot over to Steam - go to 'Activate a game on Steam' enter the code- then Steam downloads and installs it. Simples. Works like a charm. Agree with MJ - Mid-Ohio isn't as good as the VLM track. Cars are good but the Matech Ford GT default setup is way off.
