May I suggest that after the race tomorrow when we have had the experience of a full race on this new track, that we provide some constructive feedback to the track builder via the comments feature on the GPL Track database. This is a new track and it is great to see the community volunteering to build new tracks for us all to enjoy. I'm sure some feedback on what was good and some measured constructive criticism of what could be better would be appreciated.

I reckon that brass band concert will be noisier than the Lola T70s and GT40s at Brands! Have a great time Pete, I hope you win Sorry I won't be able to make Donnington, I'm off on holiday the following Monday. I'm sure you will have a great weekend.

Unfortunately Tris didn't read the race announcement and misunderstood what was T4. This caused an almighty crash at the start. Please read the race announcements gents, Cookie went to a lot of trouble to post a picture of the start line which was obviously not read by all the drivers. As for the race itself, it was a cracker. From 5th to last after the start fiasco. I passed 3 drivers who were also recovering and I started a long climb back up the field. I managed to pick up a few places as drivers crashed out and before long I had Dimi ahead on Pribluda. I had to push very hard but eventually I caught him and I proceeded to climb all over his gearbox in an effort to try to find a way past. The fight went on for several laps before he eventually cracked under braking into T1. Great battle Dimi. I then had a handful of laps to chase down Pete who had built up a bit of a lead whilst me and Dimi were dicing. I managed to catch him at the start of the last lap but there was no way through. Great driving Pete, I had purple time after purple time trying to catch you. Well done

Presumably in GEM you have "Link Carset to Player" enabled in the options? Maybe it's worth selecting each player in turn via the top-right dropdown & quickly check the expected carset is displayed on the left hand side.
Good point Dave. Each of my player names is linked to a specific carset. Whenever I change the player in GEM the associated carset also appears.

Hmm, it sounds like the same problem Francesco has reported. But in your case it is constant whereas with Francesco it appears to be sporadic.

I assume you are selecting the intended driver profile in iGOR when you join the race?

I've never had this problem but Francesco has, see here. Without being able to replicate the problem, I can't investigate. Perhaps there is something common between your installation and Francesco's that is causing the issue?

There are several versions of the 1970 Österreichring/Zeltweg track. Some of these had problems. The latest one which matches the link in the race announcement should be OK. If you confirm there is a problem Dave, please let us know.
Perhaps a clean install of the track is advised to make sure any of the older versions are not picked up by mistake (assuming drivers have installed a previous version).
