I have found this handy software tool to use that works out where all the disk space is going
Called WinDirStat

Tells you how big folders are and sub folders as well.

As this is a permanently used patch, I put a copy of it in each mod folder, I make it once and never forget it .

Path is c:/GPL/Mods/GEM+/

sooo many mods!

Sorry, nothing wrong with racing, but i was was slow, but even worse were the sound, high revs specially at monza, and it sounded so awful, like a hairdryer!, anyone got some sound files they can recommend for the 67s, specially the brabham!

6  UKGPL / UKGPL Races / Re: UKGPL Season 36 (2020) - Aintree - Apr 13 on: April 14, 2020, 12:48:18 PM +0100
god, that was hard work and a felt like a really long race!, decent start, avoided everyone, few off's here and there, considering I only practiced yesterday and got it all working again, but I did managed to get my laptimes down in race from a 2:10s down to a personal best on last lap of a 2:05, putting me only 4-5secs of the leaders!

Here's the gplra report if anyone wants to look at it.

Robert, apart from 3 races in S29, the last time you raced with us regularly was in S17. A lot has changed since then but the main things are the new mods (the most unusual being the 55s because of the unique brakes) and the 60FPS patch. It looks like you've sorted both those issues. Hope you get your rig setup to your satisfaction for tomorrow and that you enjoy your race. Welcome back  Smiley

Thanks I also managed to change the steering ratio in setup to 16:1 for my logitech g27 and also set the steering all way to linear which has helped massive that i'm not jerking wheel just to keep it in a straight line!, lot more smoother now!

Sorted my account, finally got in to SMRZ!

Got track installed, but now when I connect to the unofficial UKGPL practice, it says " You are not qualified to drive in this race"

Hi Burt, good to see you back.

As Dave says, my server is running at 60fps.

When you think that you have eaten enough strawbales and Armco, send me a PM and we can talk BRAKES!!!!

Server is running for the next 50 minutes.

weird it actually works now lol

Hi Rob, nice to see you back again. If you haven't tried the 55GP cars before you'll need some practice to get used to the brakes. They are unique  Wink.

My issue at moment is I need tracks, and some reason I cant find my SMRZ account to download the files, I have registered, but need to wait for the mods to approve..

2nd time I visited this track now and last year.

Rented a Canon 70-200 f2.8 IS II USM lens for the weekend compared to my f4 non IS version.

I haven't been out for a long while, so was bit rusty!

Enjoy!, would appreciate some feedback.

Tempted to buy this lens as well!
