Sorry Matt, my usual line through T1 is pretty random anyway, so got caught out when you braked earlier. Shame as the cars appeared very competitive, just shows I can't do any close racing.

Check that you haven't disabled automatic updates. Right click on the game in Steam's library, select Properties, then Updates tab.

Didn't bother as I would've just been running alone all the race, shame there aren't more people joining these!

Very exciting race even though I was driving pretty much alone after the first few laps. Started with soft slicks and swapped for hard wets as soon as the rain started, after that it was about trying to stay between the lines and making the tyres last, even tried cooling them off the line Schumacher-style when the rain ceased. In the end quicksilver and APEX were closing the gap quickly but apparently couldn't quite make it before the end.

I do like this real world weather, however I've been wondering why we insist on these tracks, maybe we should try racing in the southern hemisphere at this time of the year?

Steam just downloaded an update for Race07, can't connect to the practice server now due to incompatible version. Should the server be updated before tonights race?

The AI was rather interesting here, got rear-ended on the first lap and spun around a couple of times, not unlike the average public race.

Track was great with these cars, I'd like more fun races on simple tracks like this.

Doesn't work for me either, maybe try some default track for tonight?

There were some WTCC AI's on the training server too, maybe a bit too quick for this company?

I also got the Retro and GT packs recently, could we maybe edit our answers to the poll so it's up to date?

I guess we also need the GT Power addon for the track?

I'd imagine it'll appear in the Steam store after a while, just like the STCC 2 addon.

The way I've understood the rule is you're supposed to go when the guy in front of you goes. Pole sitter switches limiter off at the start line, and everyone should just switch off in sequence so the whole grid is racing almost instantly.

Of course this never happens, instead everyone waits till the start line and by the time I get there the lead is usually halfway around the track.

I think the times at the website are UAE local time, qualifying race was on around 9 UTC this morning. The championship race should start at 15:45, an hour from now.
