There will be some downtime tomorrow afternoon whilst my gas and electricity meters are replaced by "smart" ones. Should be no more than two hours between midday and 16:00 (UK times).

Go on have a proper boast/moan. How fast is it now?
It was under 40Mbps down before, now it's 63! Upstream speeds have improved too, from about 12 to 19. Latency seems slightly worse, at ~12ms now versus about 9ms before, but that's probably more to do with increased traffic than the line itself.

I'm having a few issues at the moment with my internet connection, so don't be surprised if the SRou website disappears for a few minutes now and then. My ISP's line check tool now shows a fault so hopefully it'll only be a few days before it's sorted.

SimRacing In General / Grand Prix Legends / Any got any Formula Libre replays?
|
on: July 06, 2020, 08:13:18 PM +0100

Many moons ago, I think before GEM+, possibly in the days of or even before WinVROC, there was a way to play multiplayer GPL using arbitrary combinations of the standard chassis and engines, including F2 engines in F1 chassis (which we called FD) and something called Formula Libre which was any F1 chassis with any other F1 engine, all without a 'carset'.
Has anyone got any such replay, from which they can identify the combinations correctly?
Related: I've got replays with FD cars, but also have a couple with something which according to the driver profile name are "GTS". Any idea what that might've been?
