SimRacing In General / Grand Prix Legends / Re: Cable broadband

i switched from BT a few months back to Virgin, i took the 50mb broadband,tv and phone package.
i have to say i have found them a pleasure to deal with compared to BT, i can actually understand what they are saying.
And the speed is phenomam bloody excellent.
i get d/l speeds of 50mb and upload speeds of around 5-6mb with a ping response of 15ms to a server in manchester.
personally i would recommend anyone to try virgin. you have 28 days to cancel if not satisfied too.
and vosblod, their superhub has been no problem for me, although i think i have the newer generation version with the latest firmware.

Everything Else / Real World Racing / Re: This is not going to end well

Is there any reason it's iRacing news?
I've watched a couple of videos with him sim racing and without being insensitive, coordination was not there.
sorry, but i think you may have missed this paragraph ' The 19-year-old, who has cerebral palsy, has agreed a deal with Total Control Racing - “I know this will not be an easy task, but I hope that my doing this will give inspiration to others who have challenges in their life. I can’t wait to be racing.” i think he is quite brave to try and tackle something as physically draining as driving a real world race car.

UKPnG / UKPnG Races / Re: Power and Glory v2 Mod Test - Brno - Jan 8

so hang on, i couldnt talk you lot into using P&G for over a year and then for the very first online race we use the first cars that were availble all that time ago ALL the cars need testing...and this is as good a place to start as any. The reason PnG was 'dismissed' previously for use here was because it ONLY contained the said cars....The fun would have lasted a couple of weeks until we were all totally fed up with driving the same car. at least now it contains variety eh! i don't know aabout anyone else, but i find the physics and handling of the v2 much more refined, the 1st release didn't seem as good as this does. excellent stuff. loving it. simjunkies are running our regular arse in a reasonably fast car tommorow using P&G2 and the top gear track.
maybe able to join if it's finished in time.
not holding my breath though.

i may be up for something tuesday evening. wish i had been able to join in sunday for the monza run,but family commitments were priority that day :'(
"They were only introduced because we had some being rather too cheeky with their cuts but all those left racing in our league are there for the racing not cheating. angel"
i for one would would not be too upset if warnings were not turned on,even when turned off i find myself religiously sticking to the track rather than taking a bit extra off the corner lol

i may as well give up lol
i was doing 1:26's all day in mc12,then come the night ,i could barely manage a 1:29.
to cap it all i was getting pretty erratic fps hits for some reason. no idea at all why.
i thought i would give the viper a run as i did quite well it the aps league races, but it wasn't to be,as i realised all my good set-upsare on the other profile.doh!!!!!

Just thinking 40min sprints are a bit short for tyre strategies and pitstops Sprints would be awesome with those changes. What do you do, try and finish or make a quick stop and try to fight back. The perfect receipe to spice things up and to mix things around . i think that would be great fun, cos i always wait just that extra little bit to see how the weather pans out, i'm usually wrong and end up pitting later than i should but thats the fun of it. anyways,i practice a lot with rain conditions.
