Question: what's the average winter tyre drivers percentage in UK?
Also, are you all completely insane?! Summer tyre under +5 deg. Celsius is useless, period. All that pricey metal does not deserve your full attention on the most important part of the car, which is, as we all know from racing, 4 palm-of-the-hands surface of rubber?
Seriously, I was shocked reading about winter driving "problems".
It's VERY simple: M+S. Accept nothing less. Plus don't overheat M+S when outside temp is above 5-10 deg. C (it gets... chewy, veeeery long braking distances etc.)
I tend to fit 10mm narrower winter tyres if homologation permits it, they rule in wet or snow.
