Grats to Pepe & all who finished this devilish track. The tarmac is very narrow & there are a dozen places where it is so easy to put a wheel on the gravel & spin off. My plan was just to finish - so there was a small measure of success I suppose. When I could hook up a lap the Cooper was capable of some good times. First 6 laps were laden with mistakes. After I settled down I did start closing up on the cars in front - got as far as Dave’s Honda with about 3 to go & then span into the sand.

Of no practical help Pepe, but I could never work out the prefix for the Austrian flag.

I have used both Macfee & Norton. Wouldn't recommend either for GPL. If they are as efficient as blocking malware as they are at screwing up GPL then they are probably doing a good job.

Whilst Brabham is very tempting I will try out the Ferrari.

I like this track but I have a habit of overdriving it. Bailed out a couple of laps before the end when my ambition starting exceeding my ability.

Is it me or does anyone else have 'moments' on this track where you just plain forget where you are.  The bit you are expecting when you come round a bend isn't there & the car flys into a hedge or a bank or a ditch. Must be a symptom of getting old.
I can actually remember most of the Nurburgring - not this one.

Like the track but just could not find a drivable set up.

My most frequent IT battle is with the virus software which generally dislikes GPL. I find it necessary to override Norton from time to time. From what you describe - where the programme is falling over - I don't think that is your issue.  Nevertheless, I'll give it a mention.
I had a very uneventful race - which is a result at the ring. Skirted the wheels over the grass on a couple of occasions but no major mistakes.
If I concentrate really hard I can dip below a 9 minute lap. The lead cars are something like 40 seconds quicker ??
Apart from holding up Phil for half a lap I didn't see much traffic. Just as well because half of the Prib outputs were blank.

Maybe Cookie can chose an easier track next week?
