Thanks Matt, our move is next week 28th. COVID made us realise how far we are from our family, so we are moving to the High Wycombe area to a two bedroom apartment - down sizing! 

No I’m not racing anymore online, I packed in racing earlier this year. I’m 84 years old and I found my lap times were increasing by the week so I have retired.

I have been absent on parade recently as we have our house for sale as we want to downsize and move back to the High Wycombe Area to be closer to our elder daughter and grandsons. As a result we have been busy and I have been unable to find time to get any practice prior to race night!

The first track (GP?) we’ve raced before and I think it is a nice flowing track and well suited to these cars! 

This morning laptop fired up no problem, strange things computers! 

Sorry Tony, I kept over to let you through. I too had a terrible time trying to join - kept getting kicked off to desktop! Worst still after the race my laptop was locked up when I tried to exit RRE. On restarting laptop it was locked into RRE still on same locked screen. That’s todays task to sort it out, any suggestions? Hope I can do it before next weeks race. 

Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Thanks Matt for organising Thursday night’s racing! Did ample practice for the race but then had to help “she who must be obeyed” to sort out the Christmas decorations and preparations for Christmas. As a result I was too tired to race - it’s my age you know. 

Appropriate for a fun race? 

RRE had the update this morning, that Geoff advised us was due last week!

Server was down for maintenance before lunch, also there was a Windows 10 update which took about 20 minutes to install.

If my “test drivers” Ollie was still here he would have had a go. He could always beat my PB on his first flying lap in any car on default setup; but then he’s 50 years younger than me and has driven Silverstone in his Souped Up Ford Focus RS at Ford Owners test days! My only drive at Silverstone, was for about half an hour, many years ago in a formula junior car!  If I can find time tomorrow I’ll give it a whirl with your setup!  :

These cars I find too fast and twitchy to even try and race, also had visitors staying for a long weekend.

Server appears to show a choice of cars ie Aquila Cup, Group 5 does this mean we can drive the Aquila again?

I have pain in right foot also found it appears to be caused by to much driving in RRE. So I try and limit my time - short practice regularly until I feel I know the Car/Track combination then rest it until race night.
