I blew it and did not calculate the time zone correctly   I found the Ford GT was super for this track. I was clocking 1:23's with it dry and in the low 1:30's wet. Would have been fun. Will be ready for Lemans  

 

After spending a few minutes with Ade, we were able to get his game to host races. Please test the hell out of it ... or should I say bug the the hell out of him to host now LOL

Will be racing on Sunday. Bumped my head falling out of my shower last week. Had to spend a couple of days in the hospital. A few stiches later and I am OK. See you all on the track. 

If it is raining here in the morning, then I will be making the race after all. Got love it 

I got a call today and there is an opening for an AutoX at Road Atlanta on Sunday. From what I understand they are using part of the track. Very Cool

Planning on running this race in a MINI (don't figure  ) ) I am running in the 1:50's at the moment. Hopefully pick up some more time soon.

When it say's handicapped, what are you referring to here?

I can see allot or drag races on this one. Turned a 1:10 in a Lister. You will need a very fast car for this one. The chicane curbs are very high and will take some time to master if you plan on going over them. I can only assume you will break something eventually maybe

Here is a picture of the late model I raced about 10 tears ago. I bought it in Kentucky and had it repainted. I will post some of the other pictures once I scan them into my computer. Someone told me one night on TS they wanted to see it. The only race I won with it was when I lost my front brakes. I used the cars in front of me to slow me down. It was a whole new meaning to bump drafting  . The last lap I passed the 1st place car for the win. I killed the car coming into the infield and told the race officials I ran out of gas LOL. If they found out I did not have any brakes, I would have been disqualified. 

I got my new system up and running. It works very well  . Thanks Truetom for the set ups  . I plan on practicing a bunch on Saturday to continue to get to know the racing lines on the track.

My rig farged up too  Mine is a hardware issue. The MB is no longer in production so I am forced to upgrade. What a darn shame. Going Intel this time around. Hopefully be up by Sunday.

I was going to race with you all this afternoon. I got the MINI down to 1:08's. With a little more precise driving    I think I could shave another second or two.

Well .... there is always the next race.

MSI sent me a program to diagnose the MB. I also have a program that runs a stress test. The MSI program showed errors on the chip and it was running very hot. Apparently this MB has had a history of burning up these chips. The cooling system for this chip is pretty spectacular which was one of the reasons I bought it. 

I think it happened last month when I was flying my Albatros low over the Somme River and a crack shot of Aussies hit my engine LOL.

Hmm... may need to rethink this  I truly thought I was off the pace here. I am running consistant 1:58's. I did turn a 1:56, so I guess I am good to go. My Northbridge chip set appears to be unstable on my MB. I tried different drivers, memory tests, etc. and determined it's a bad chip. The MB is no longer available which is a bummer. With that said, I am moving away from AMD and going to an i7 Intel chip. If all goes well, I should be back online for the race on Sunday.
