Pepe, it looks like the server dropped you from the results. We can fix that don't worry.

It happened just after crossing S/F in 6th on L22. Suddenly I dropped to 7th, then quickly 8th. By the end of the lap I was 13th! Doni took me at the very last corner, so I probably finished 7th.
I've checked your race time finish in the server replay and I've updated the race results table accordingly.

Hate all this honesty - that 11th was precious!

Barely 2/3 of the lap under my belt and there's a Ferrari spinning in front of me.

Sorry mate Sad Wasn't great but I got excited...

sorry doni at the start i tried to avoid a car on the inside gras coming back and there was you. it was too much avoiding him.

The car was to instable all in all. second error it took me upside down.

That was me I think. So sorry. I was a passenger at that point.

So much fun. I love this track and always have good racing here

I threaded my way through the inevitable lap 1 pile ups (although I did have a scrape at the first corner which is going to be moderated...) and ended up something like eighth but smugness set in and I went too wide on the ostkurve, caught some grass, span and hit somebody (Doni I think) sorry.

After that some battles with Albert - I was catching him but managed to spin all by myself Sad Then Fran and I had a few laps but Fran suddenly disappeared - don't think I did anything untoward but...

Fran, of course, caught me but at the same time as the leaders, I hoped they might drag me back up to him and I found myself with a faceful of Ferrari pipes. Couldn't hold on though. Couldn't believe there were only 6 laps to go.

I was struggling throughout with sky high temps on my left front - all the others were cold... can't seem to get a driveable set up that actually warms the tyres. Odd about the left front because I didn't see that in practice at all.

Any tips on how to balance the set up to save that left front?

Feeling ridiculously pleased not to get lapped by more than the front four... small steps. Got my fastest lap on the last one too.
Enjoyed the race and was glad to see the flag. Race flew by
7  UKGPL / UKGPL Races / Re: UKGPL Season 37 (2020) 1967 F1 Sprint - Mexico City - Nov 8 on: November 08, 2020, 09:45:20 PM +0000
Not sure what happened there. Nice practices in the 1:53-1:54 range. Slow but consistent. Qually was a bit odd so went back and tweaked the setup to get something stable. Qual 1:55 - disappointing but ok. Race - undriveable. Sad

Quit so that I didn't take anyone out. Tyre temperatures were through the roof and not answering the wheel. Not ideal at Mexico. Hope to get this sorted for Zeltweg. One of my favourite tracks.

I think it might be the 60 fps - sometimes the screen update gets very juddery and the frame rate suddenly drops awfully. I suspect it might be something to do with the anti-vitrus. I have a new Graphics card which is due to be deployed. Might help.

What is a competitive time for Mexico btw. At least I don't have to learn that track. I just went and tried and was getting 1:57 in the BRM Brabham  Grin. Not in the 1:40's is it? Sad

Just wanted to get more than half distance.

Had a mare in qually - pulled out on somebody - I did look but you weren't there and then you were...

Then I dropped my tea as I finished my first sighter lap, I was trying to move over out of the way of a Ferrari and hit the brakes accidentally. Sorry again.

As for the race, had a few laps with company but I was just aiming to race within my very diminished capabilities. Each time I pushed it I managed to spin... Still. Didn't get lapped and did 9 laps. Did NOT want to get in anyone's way so I pulled in and quit.

I am really struggling with motion sickness. Not sure why. So I wasn't feeling that good when I finished. Being even remotely racey seems a LONG way off.

Well, wish I had uploaded a Rouen set up Bernie. Unfortunately my setup was much more "ruin". I managed to make the friendly coop into a wild beast Sad

Went for a quick look at Solitude. Not sure what sort of time would be competitive but my 4:15 sighter lap certainly would not be  Grin

Took that down to 3:58 and caught a few slides and started to really enjoy myself. Then I crashed...

If I can take another 30 seconds off I might not qualify at the back... lol.

Well - got out of first a couple of times but the engine let go on Lap 3 - did about 30 practice laps not a problem. I was a moving chicane anyway so decided not to bother with the Shift-R. Might actually practice before Sunday for the next one.  Grin

Not sure I like this track much. Not sure I will get OUT of first gear...

Pity Goodwood has issues. It is lovely.
13  UKGPL / General / UKGPL3 of Blessed Memory - Help needed please on: October 01, 2020, 06:02:58 PM +0100
Chaps (Well Mods really), I am after a little assistance.

When I was a good boy and a Moderator, I posted up a ton of stuff about the setup of UKGPL3 and the various passwords etc etc.

I gave up UKGPL because of major woes with my router. I can't currently host but I am looking at setting that up and would like to get back in to the server. Sadly I have locked myself out. Can anyone have a look at that thread and send me the text. I did include the passwords in plain text - I now need them. Locked out of my own server <sigh>. Worst comes to the worst, I can re-install everything but I would rather not.

2:10 pah. My best ever time at Rouen is 2:01 so I hopped back in the Brabby and tried again. 2:07 on cold tyres and then I crashed  Grin

Fun while it lasted. Saw the grid go off engaged first foot to the floor... nothing. That happened at Mosport. Not sure why. Any way, got going soon caught Pete and Albert. Albert was warping a bit and I was being cautious around him but we had a coming together at the start of lap 2. Ah well. Pete had dropped back a bit and I was starting to feel a bit more confident. Then disaster. Wheel on the grass and went over. Tried to Shift-R but Pete had caught me so I had to wait an age. What were the rules? Oops. Served a Stop-n-go and re-joined only to see the leader up my tail pipes. Got well out of the way and started to lap again. Times were 2:10 ish so not great but OK for my second trip out. Thought I would stay out to Lap 13 and call it a night but unfortunately got a bout of motion sickness on Lap 10. Fun. Though. A pass, a crash, A reset... what is not to like.

Enjoyed getting 'Arfed in qually too. Assumed it was my fault until I watched the replay. Wink

I REALLY need to practice but it was so nice to actually race again...

Disco'ed in Qually...
