Wow. Been a LONG time. Biggest concern was keeping out of the way. I have not been able to practice and I was SLOW. So Qually in clean air concentrating on getting a driveable, non-twitchy car. Just about did that and I was not too despondent about finishing last. Looked to the right and saw the flag go down and hit throttle and... nothing. No idea why but I had to take my feet off everything re-set the gear and get going. Ah well. At least I wouldn't get in the way. Until I got round the corner and found a green car on the line. Clumsy attempt to avoid and Phil had disconnected. Oops. Sorry mate. Did ten very slow laps and kept out of the way of those leaders. Hoped to stay away for about 8 laps but clipping a kerb and the bad start put paid to that. Took Bob about three laps to catch me... Did 9 or ten laps and then the steering wheel fell off. Literally. Plus I was knackered.

Nice to be back. I hope to improve to bad...

Well, that is a blow. Got myself all psyched up for my first race back in about 100 years and found that I haven't properly installed the mod

What sort of target time should I be looking at at Buenos Aires? Took a spin in a Cooper earlier on (actually a few spins) and whilst I am getting to grips with them again, these 67 beasties are challenging.

After several years out I have decided to dust off my wheel (literally) and see if I can discover some of the old magic. Just went round Silverstone in a Lotus in 1:38 - oops. At least I didn't spin.

I am trying to get some stuff sorted at home. Change of job, kids off to University, change of broadband supplier...

UKGPL3 has never been down but for some reason it is not visible to the outside world. I will try and get it going again.

As for the racing, I might just see if the wheel still works.
