well looks like there is no point in a test race with the shifter kart.
48  UKAC / UKAC Announcements / Re: New Sunday Night Series on: April 05, 2022, 10:03:30 PM +0100
And again I should probably hold my tongue but when there are gems like this out there https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3eDWV_Us-_8 I am not so enthused to drive some home made maybe addons for AC...   If you dont have the Challengers Pack DLC for ACC you should, because the 488 challenge, Lambo Super Trofeo and Porsche 992 Cup in ACC are really fkin great  Wink

we tried using ACC here and there was no enthusiasm for it Sad
49  UKAC / UKAC Announcements / Re: New Sunday Night Series on: April 02, 2022, 10:20:00 PM +0100
I have been looking at cars to use for future race series. I had a go on this shifter Kart which seems quite fast and tricky to drive and could make a decent series. What do potential Sunday night racers think of it?

when we tried the two versions out last time some people liked the TT and some the VLN version. cant remember which was more popular. Anyway the practice server is up for Sundays fun race!

FYI - as people have mentioned this race will be held on british summertime which is GMT+1. I will update the top of the thread
53  UKAC / UKAC Races / Re: UKAC - Autopolis - Mar 27 on: March 22, 2022, 11:14:45 PM +0000
This is a fun race while i finalise the details for the MC12 GT1 series.

A good chance for people to have a go on this Autopolis track, plenty of medium speed twisty bits and lots of eye candy if your graphics card can handle it!

55  UKAC / UKAC Announcements / Re: New Sunday Night Series on: March 20, 2022, 09:59:39 PM +0000
That is not an easy car to drive....

unfortunately we are a bit limited for GT cars now as no wants to race GT2, GT3, Praga or paymods such as DTM or newer GT cars here at SROU Sad

i felt the ORECA was a bit fast for this series and touring cars a bit slow. i expect they will become easier to drive after you have got a few laps under your belt
56  UKAC / UKAC Announcements / Re: New Sunday Night Series on: March 19, 2022, 10:07:12 PM +0000
I have decided to rerun this series using the Maserati MC12 GT1. More details to follow!

58  UKAC / UKAC Races / Re: UKAC Season 18 - Thruxton Fun race - Mar 16 on: March 17, 2022, 12:49:25 PM +0000
i tried getting people to part with €5 for the 2018 DTM mod recently (which gets you merc/bmw/audi DTM cars) but only 4 of us bought the MOD. shame as there are some good GT mods out there.
