Hi everyone,

New guy here, been a while since I've done organized racing. Nice to meet you all and my goal for the race is just to keep it together and finish clean so that I can step it up in the future Smiley

Hi, Welcome to the Sunday night series. Just remember to read the race post at the top of the thread as it gives you race info for tonights race (especially the rolling start procedure which usually catches someone out!)

The practice server is up for Sundays race, not had a chance to log on yet so if there are any problems please post in this thread

After last nights RRE Porkers @ Spa we now switch over to the AC version of the same combo for this Sundays race!

It will be interesting to compare lap times etc from the two sims

its race day, first round of the Porsche cup series!

Practice Server is up and running

Has anyone got any setup tips for these porkas, all I have done so far is decrease the rear wing to try to reduce understeer and get a better balance, but it is still a real handful under braking for eau rouge

Back to RRE this Sunday for the first round of the Porsche Supercup series!
997  UKAC / UKAC Races / Re: UKAC Fun Race - Okayama - Mar 31 on: April 01, 2019, 01:21:36 PM +0100
Angry  6 year old sons tantrum + my PC failing to recognise my steering wheel meant I didn't get on track until one minute before the end of qually, so spent most of the race just getting up to speed. Shame as I really like this track.

That was the last of the fun races, starting next Sunday will be the Porsche Supercup series (alternating between RRE & AC). First up will be RRE Porsche at Spa, followed the week after by AC Porsche at Spa.

So we can use MJ's Wednesday night Lotus race at Spa as a warm up!

I will probably take the 650. I like the audi and the sound of the  merc, but i always seem to be a bit quicker in the 650
999  Race Room Experience / RRE Races / Re: RRE Season 6 (2019) RRE 2019 WTCR - Mantorp - Mar 17 on: March 28, 2019, 01:21:08 PM +0000
I have rearranged the results for race 2, but there does not seem to be a set of results for race 1. Matt, could you reload the results for race 1?

Can anyone confirm the results for the two races? if so I can manually update the results in LM2
1002  UKAC / UKAC Races / Re: UKAC Fun Race - Valencia - Mar 24 on: March 26, 2019, 12:46:36 PM +0000
Dont think the track is too far away from other versions.

with so many car options available there ends up being very low numbers of them available to pick. I was going to go with the lambo, or porsche but as they only had 1 available and it looked like the lmbo was going, i went with the ferrari.

Couldnt keep up with Apex, lonely race, but still fun driving around here.

This is the problem with the AC server, you either get loads of car choice in small numbers or small choice but more cars. I have been thinking about slimming the car choice down for future race series. Which car are you planning on using this week? I can make sure there are a few of them on the car list

I enjoyed that race, I really like the Ricardo Tormo track. I had some close battles even after spinning off!

Another fun race coming up next at Okoyama before we switch to Porsche Cup series for the spring/summer.
1003  UKAC / UKAC Races / Re: UKAC Fun Race - Valencia - Mar 24 on: March 24, 2019, 07:41:49 PM +0000
Just tried couple laps...this track is designed for karting cars tbh, but it's same for all. I think even Monaco is faster than this, must be.

it is used for GT's and touring cars in real life (and F1 testing)!

has anyone decided what tyres they are going to use yet, with no pitstop we cant rely on banging on a set of softs half way through
1004  UKAC / UKAC Races / Re: UKAC Fun Race - Valencia - Mar 24 on: March 23, 2019, 02:28:54 PM +0000
