Season 28 - 60fpsV1 – Porsche 910 Cup - Spa-Francorchamps 67

We had a server crash after 6 laps last Friday...  


The Porsche 910 Cup FUN RACE will be at the new challenging SPA67 in Belgium.


The race will be run under INT rules and you have no car choice  
You can do 2x shift+r but each has to be followed by a stop and go in the pits!

We will use the 60fpsV1 to test if your PC can handle the challenge.
The lightest track version should be used as the GT mod is really heavy!

I gave the rears a little more pressure but not too much.
Spa67 needs a good traction in corners so not such excessive pressures as old Spa
The main thing is the gear selection, long 4th and 5th, for Eau Rouge and Les Combes I use long 2nd gear...

Yes, definately!

Have you tried to let run any other booting CD or USB device?
Have you tested if the W7 cd boots in your other PC? (Just abort any installation! But if it goes such far, the CD/DVD is ok)

Do as I suggested, with a small Linux live system that will show you if there are any HW problems.
I have an old 1GB stick and a CD with it allways in reserve, to proof any PC's HW is working correct as it will start every Computer.

It's just what I say.

Don't set the SATA to AHCI, set to IDE mode!
The F11 should help to boot the W7 CD/DVD

All works fine IMO! The problem is not the Hardware!
The problem is the W7 CD  not booting!
The HDD does boot as you said.
Download any Linux live system put it on a USB or CD and look if this works.
Try Lubuntu and burn it on USB or CD with pendrivelinux this shows you if there are any HW related problems

This will be no problem as long we use a PW on the server so nobody can join with 36fps.

I thought this is a good way to make the choice of the patches more userfriendly...
But there is something wrong with this method!
From that moment on, I allways had to start racing from GEM as I got this mismatch if not so I switched back putting the .xml's in GPLsecrets subfolder!

You won't be able to join a V2newmod server with V1! Maybe with V2 is successfull

Will start the server in a moment

About the tramway effect,
I succeeded in reducing it making the steering more direct by less toe-in/out on the front axle

I use FFB2 too Fran.  
As there is no better FFB...
