I've just been exclued from SPA and there is no chance of me competing for the title with that said i'll no longer be taking part in this series.

I need to rethink how i approach my driving in future once again I wasn't comfortable with the setup i had and felt like i was fighting the car on every corner. I need to put more prep into these races instead of just turning up in practice and throwing a setup at the car.

Qualifying was just a formality and was pretty pleased all thing considering.

The race was going well and had managed to slip in be-hide Jamie at the start and kept within a second of him with no real dramas, we both made the odd mistake but managed to give each other room. I could see Gary was catching and planned to let him by but clipped a kerb and got the car sideways. Unfortunately Gary had nowhere to go but straight into me Sad Got the meat ball flag and bent steering rack so headed straight to the pits where i got fresh rubber, repaired and filled up then started to hunt down the leaders.

When it came time for them to pit Gary was miles ahead but Jamie was only a few seconds when he came out the pits and made a mistake coming over the hill. We had a good battle for a few laps but I locked up the wheels going into the hairpin and got side ways and Jamie hit me (Not your fault mate) and i spun round. Got the meat ball flag again and limped round to the pits with bent steering and got told to much damage race over. I was pretty gutted, Rage quit Sad

Will done Jamie well deserved win.

I just couldn't get a balance I was happy with after about 7 laps it began to handle like a pile of crap and didn't want to ride the bumps as it did, I over corrected going through the back section and stuffed it in the wall  Embarrassed I got the car repaired and was 1 lap down and began the case again, same thing happened.

I seem to be going through a bad patch at the moment

Very disappointed in myself, in 30mins i couldn't get a clean lap in qualifying kept getting 1x when ever i went for a flying lap so i had to start from the back.

The race was a completely joke, smashed it into a wall to avoid a Mustang that moved across in front of me, crawled back to the pits and got a "magic repair" so fuelled it up and went back out to see if i could gain any places, managed to battle my way back to 3rd but i had over worked the tyres and they was completely shot then spun out and Mike got ahead.

I hate Spa.

Well done to all the podiums very well deserved

Great race guys, pushed at the start and opened up a gap on Darren, then i hit cruze control Tongue Shame there wasn't more people on track would have made it a bit more interesting.

Next up is Spa, not one of my favourite tracks and I really struggle to keep a decent pace going.

Just checked all settings nothing has changed, there was an update today but in the release notes there isn't anything that would effect it.

This is very weird yesterday I was doing mid / high 16's and now the best I can get it 17.5's!!! My set-up hasn't changed and I'm driving the same lines.

This has to go into my top ten best races, great driving from Gary.

Completely foo bar'd myself after a couple of laps by missing my brake marker by a country mile and found myself on the grass watching Ian & Darren go passed  Angry

I caught up with Darren in the next couple of laps and made a firm but fair pass after out braking him on the first corner, sorry about the contact Darren it was x0 and was not intentional, sorry mate.

I then caught Ian and made the same move, next up was Gary but it wasn't going to be that easy and he looked like he was having a hard time with traffic as he was catching the Mustangs in the worst possible places. We both pushed hard and on lap 25 I decided it was time to make a pit stop.

When I came out the pits I found my self way down the order but i knew everyone in-front would have to pit in the next few laps at least. As I drove pasted the pits on the next lap to my surprise Gary was just getting up to speed and after Jamie had made his pitstop I found myself leading the race. I later found out he had been caught up in traffic and this had allowed me to leap frog him.

Now it was a case of holding on to the first place, with Gary breathing down my neck! For the next 25 laps it was a noise to tail battle. knowing VIR is very hard to pass all i need to do was hold my nerve with Gary piling on the pressuring I held my line to take the win.

What a great battle with Gary some awesome driving mate Smiley Well done Simon on bringing the Mustang home in first place.

Great driving from everyone today
