After playing around with the setup a bit I have just managed a 3:54:4, which I'm fairly pleased with. God knows where Geoffers is finding that 4 secs from, I was pretty much on the limit of the setup/ my skill level lol.
Was that 3:50 using paddles or stick shift?

Sounds good to me, although if the first race is the 20th I'm afraid that I will miss that one as I have an over-nighter in hospital (nothing serious), but other than that count me in

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for a great race last night, really, really enjoyed it and it was sooo nice to be able to push the car without worrying about "SR" & "off track x 1" (Clearly I've been spending too much time with iracing )
Joined the server about 5-10 mins before qually 2 and have to say I probably should have given this one a miss as I'd only just finished mounting my new wheel and hadn't even tested it. That having been said, I felt I was doing quite well until I manged to spin out and fell almost to the back of the field, battled to catch up again and then span out and damaged the car. I limped into the pits for repair and got out just in time to land right in the middle of the battle of the white & red alfas.
Anyway, had some REALLY good battles along the way, thanks to all

Hi Guys, Been doing most of my racing over at iracing, but subscription ended and I'm waiting to see if they do anything for Black Friday. Anyway I digress, downloaded V3 and decided to have a blast round Silverstone 88 in the Cortina.............................. simply amazing, loving it, especially using clutch and stick shift. Probably miles off the pace, but managing 1:54's 1:52's comfortably with no drama's, sure there's more to be had if I swapped over to the paddles, but its sooooo much fun with the stick shift

Hi Guys, Firstly sorry for dipping in & out, I hadn't been on the forum for awhile and only saw the post while you were all in qually. After quickly downloading carpacks etc I tried to get on the pace but ran out of qually time, so I ended up starting the race having come straight from iracing with no setup and not having started GTR2 for a couple of months, was never gonna end well!!!! Anyway I decided the stop trying after MJ ran into to me at the hairpin while I was trying to let the leaders through, I ran wide to give him room, but I guess he didn't see i'd lifted off. Anyway, now I know the season has started I'll dust off GTR2 again and get some well needed practice in

Bugger, my m/board doesn't support SLI, buy in haste and all that lol. I guess thinking in the long term it would probably pay me to go with the Matrox, least that way it will not matter if/ when I upgrade the g/ card. I have been using a triple monitor setup at Puretech Racing recently and going back to a single monitor when at home feels like I'm blinkered by comparrison why oh why can't things ever be simple? I was thinking of spending the money instead on a set CSP, but I was talking with BRD the other evening and it seems they working on a load cell version of their ProSpeed pedals, which "should" also be backwards compatible with their Speed 7 pedals, which I have already, so now I'm really undecided!!!!

Anyway, I'm looking at dipping my toe in the world of triple screen racing. The problem is that I have a GTX 560 ti which is quite new and I would be very reluctant to chop it in for a triple head card.
I know about the Matrox TH2GO, but boy it's pricey. I understand there is a way of doing it via software if you have another card, wherein lies the problem, I don't have any space for another card, but I do have onboard graphics. Does anyone know if or how it can be done?
PC World have an offer on at the moment for a 23" AOC LED @ £119.00, which a pair of would go quite nicely with my 24" ACER led without breaking the bank.

Ive been trying different load outs. I'm currently enjoying Sniper...with no scopes. I've found best all round sniper setup for me is the SKS with 8x rifle scope and just fire 5 or 6 rounds into them before they know whats hit em. Karkland is really good, really well done (PS3) and the servers running it are rammed
