I cannot understand why every time there is one driver (or maybe more) forgiving the rolling start.

That means several drivers are not reading the rules at the top of the topic.

There are several cars with only 4 gears (Lola Chevy 333ci for example, the one I drove at Spa)

and only one shift-R / reset allowed.
 

 

Remember : there is a rolling start !

If you don't respect it, you will be excluded by UKGPL during 2 seasons

Season 44 F1 1967 WORKS – Round 3 –  BALCARCE

For the third race in the 1967 Grand Prix Works series, we will visit Balcarce in Argentina.  Balcarce was the birthplace of the legendary Argentinian driver Juan Manuel Fangio and we will be racing on the circuit that bears his name. The Autódromo Juan Manuel Fangio was opened in his honour on 18th January 1971. The circuit has hosted events in the Turismo Carretera series but it has never hosted Formula 1 races and to this day remains rather underdeveloped.


THERE ARE MORE THAN 19 REGISTERED DRIVERS IN THIS SERIES, SO :
The full time drivers can start to practice as soon as the server is available.  Reserve drivers can also join as soon as the server becomes available but must leave the server with 35 minutes of qualifying left, for a total of 5 minutes; this will allow any remaining full timers to join.  If there is enough space on the grid, the reserve drivers will be able to rejoin when there are 30 mins of qualifying left.

Drivers must complete 50% race distance to score.

Privateers have a very high level, this season.
Peter Lohmar would have finished 2nd in the Works race !!! (and Dave Curtis 5th).

As usual, my main goal was to finish (or at least to do 50% of the distance).
I finished the race but struggling with the steering wheel after I hit a concrete wall just after mid race.

You should use patch "77c Pit Stop V1.00" which allows you to refuel !

So I was rearended by Matt (phspok) on the first lap.
As Matt retired on lap2, I will not report any incident. It would be useless.

By the way, Matt, I saw you were stuck in a bush on lap 2 and it seems you forgot to reset (one reset is OK in this serie, only one)...

Very nice video by Dimitar! I like the comments too, and you always stayed calm even when you're rearended !

(Don't hesitate to report incident, I will report an incident because I was rearended on the lap 1 but I'm waiting for the replay)   

Looking at the drivers list, I saw I am the only one to choose the Lola T70 Ford 305 ...and the only one to have Dunlop tyres !
It should explain my poor result 

More seriously, I tested all the cars here and I was quicker only with the McLaren M1B but I find it too hard to drive ...

At the end of last year, I had CTD with mod55 when trying to join the track. I'm on W10, too
With the help of Phil Thornton, we could solve my issue.
I can't remember exactly what I did, it was related to DEP and/or to Nvidia GPLinspector.

Maybe (surely) Phil could help ?  I know he wrote something related to this issue, somewhere in UKGPL site ...

Season 44 F1 1967 WORKS – Round 2 –  PORTO 1958

The 2nd round of the 1967F1 Season 44 will be held at Porto.
Circuito da Boavista is a street circuit in Porto, Portugal, which was used twice for the Formula One Portuguese Grand Prix. The original course began at the harbor-front 'Esplanada do Rio de Janeiro', continued on 'Avenida da Boavista', (hence the circuit's name), and then twisted its way through small neighborhoods back to the start-finish line.
The first Grand Prix was held in 1958, and saw an act of sportsmanship by Stirling Moss. Moss came to the defense of his countryman and title rival Mike Hawthorn, who faced a penalty for having driven towards oncoming traffic after a spin. Moss persuaded the stewards not to disqualify Hawthorn, who retained his second place and 6 points. Hawthorn eventually won the drivers championship by 1 point over Moss.
