 PS

Wheels logi G25/27+ work out of the box

fanatec + Thrustmaster need a driver (easy to do!)

just ask here

Great guidance, but why do you recommend Cinnamon and not XFCE?
And which driver could that be for Thrustmaster?

I must say SORRY to Ricardo.  I Am Not Worthy Thought you were slow at that point, but don't really know. Anyway I was behind you and ended your race. I feel bad for that.  Sad  Feel free to write a protest.

Grats to all other with more luck, specially for Uli. But no that was not luck, that was pure skill!  thumbup1

33  UKGPL / UKGPL Races / Re: UKGPL Season 42 (Spring 2023) 1965 F1 - Castle Combe - May 23 on: May 24, 2023, 05:00:00 PM +0100
I have caused an accident, apologising to those involved but i have not understood if he want to pass me at right or left. After this I left the race since the many error engaging the gears...

That was me, could not figure out what you have done, Fran. Maybe nexttime just stay on one side and leave the other side free for the Overlapper.  Smiley But don't you be worry too much, cause all in all it was a good race for me. Started 8. and finished 6. So I can't ask for more.  laugh

After my spun at half distance with Bob behind I restarted with Andreas on my tail for the rest of the race. He was faster but had the patience to wait till 3 laps to go when I exit slower from last turn and he made a great pass at Quarry. He had tried some laps before when we made the esses side by side, exciting. But one lap later he went too deep at Tower while Bob catched us, and I managed to exit the turn ahead for last lap, I thought..., but when I crossed s/f line there was the flagman that was waving for Axel just behind us. Bob was lapped just before last lap and I stopped when I saw 0 lap on Pribluda. Didn't even notice on the battle with Andreas that there was Clive crawling ahead without gas  Roll Eyes
I think Andreas had understood that we had still one lap but was caught between Clive and me slowing at Quarry and got the turn post and crashed badly. I coasted right after Quarry and soon after saw Andreas roaring to catch 6th. We both could have passed easily Clive without my stupidity and maybe we could have had a last turn battle  Sad

That was a big battle with you Fulvio!  Enjoyed it very much.  punk

...Sorry Andreas for the little touch on lap 2 or 3 ....happy that you continu ....

I was not amused. Cost me a possible better Position.  Sad

... I completely missed my braking point at turn one when having a battle with Andreas and I badly damaged my car. Luckily I didn't take Andreas out. Grats on your 4th place Andreas  thumbup1.

Thanks Phil! Was a good dicing until that point.  Very enjoyable  punk
Fourth place at the end for me is excellent. Best of the rest.  rockon
Congratulations also for our strong podium!  thumbup1

Once again a flawless race with probably the best mod on one of the best tracks.

Gimme more!  thumbup2
37  UKGPL / UKGPL Races / Re: UKGPL Season 42 (Spring 2023) 1969 F1 - Silverstone - Mar 19 on: March 21, 2023, 02:13:33 PM +0000

...

I did have many laps in a three way battle with Andreas and Uli. That was a blast. Great driving guys with lots of side-by-side action. We all made a few mistakes but at the end of the day, I got lucky. Very happy with a P1 and a fastest lap as an added bonus. The BT26 has made a dent in my token tally but on this occasion, tokens well spent. Great racing everyone - see you next time.

Yeah, that was absolutely brilliant. In the end, all three of us finished about within a second on the podium. You can hardly do better than that.  Cool
38  UKGPL / UKGPL Races / Re: UKGPL Season 42 (Spring 2023) 1969 F1 - Nürburgring - Mar 5 on: March 07, 2023, 04:24:05 PM +0000
...

Grats Andreas - fantastic result!

Thank you, that felt really good already.  thumbup1
But normally Uli would have had the victory in the bag. Really bad luck with the broken engine.  If Greg had been there, I'm sure he would have finished ahead of me. After all, he is an old "Ringmeister".
Congratulations to my two podium colleagues and all the finishers.
See you next time!  rockon

ok thanks for the replies.

I had tried all the cheapest cars (I won't make 25% !)  and they were all undrivable,  so at least that has confirmed it's me!
Will have another go later.

Cheers,
Dave.

As Phil said the most important thing is that here on the Nordschleife the car don't hit the ground. So go high with ride height and bump rubbers. Also stiffer the suspension could help. Set the gearing for Topgear on Döttinger Höhe and on you go!

Sorry to Andreas for the earlier contact. I was watching the mirrors more than the track in front and might have wandered off course.

Yeah, I wonder what was going on and the next time I catch you again you vanished away. So I wonder again.  Smiley All in all never mind. Had a late join and qualified only in 11. Spot. Therefore coming home in the Top 5 is not so bad, I guess.  Wink
Congratulations to the Podium!  thumbup2

As far as I understand you have to do a fsck.

I don't know what the fun was there, but can't you also register the little Alfa?
