Thanks everyone for the race. I started practicing with Ricardo for a few hours before the race. This really helped me reduce my mistakes, improved consistent lap times. I switched to the Brabham from the Cooper. We were able to run a few practice races. Pepe was helpful for me to learn how to go two wide in first Kurve before the real race.
I had a PB for 7th in qualifying. I had a very slow start because the car in front of me disappeared. No problem on my end except that I lost a few positions. The first two laps were lots of fun. On the third lap, a Ferrari spun in the first Kurve. Pepe could not avoid it, and then I was not able to avoid Pepe's car. In hind sight, I could have slowed down more. So I can learn from it, and I am looking forward to the next race.
Thank you to the organizers, congrats to Ricardo, Philippe and Pepe, good race everyone!
One last note: My daughter came home from an art class birthday party, and wanted to show me her painting just after the race started. I told her that she will have to wait to show me after the race, and surprisingly she waited. Her painting is really awesome! We have new art work to display in our house.

Congrats Moises, Fran and Matt!
@Paul, that was Bernie on lap 4. From my perspective, at least both of you were able to continue, and you were both still faster than me even if your cars had damage.
Regarding the 55 mod brakes, maybe it was made by a right foot braker. Nothing against it, just a little humbling.
I am motivated to try the other cars in the future. I used the same car twice now because I have not had much seat time.

Hi everyone, its good to be back. I was out of town during the last privateers race. I was determined to race today. Thankfully everything worked out.
The race was very interesting with Bernie, Matt, and Fabio giving me a tow. That was until I lost a cylinder. I hoped that I would be able to continue since I still had 15 cylinders left. It was just wishful thinking. Afterwards, I tried to watch the race, and then my PC froze. Perhaps I need to use a different version of this track.
I hope that everyone had a good race. Thanks organizers and host.
See you next time!

Congrats Cookie, thanks for the set up advice and for hosting.
I should have practiced more. I had a great time. I thought that I wanted to drive the Ford 427, but I changed my mind after a quick test. I decided on the Chev 359, and I was very happy with the choice.
My FPS dropped to the 40's at the start, but it was ok for the race. I am using 1080 resolution on a 50 inch TV, lol. My first big incident was likely due to my 55 inch TV. I have to look far away in the right corner to see how far back to the next car. I will edit my prib.ini so that the important info is next to my virtual mirror in the center of my screen.
Doni, sorry to hear about your left arm. It reminded me that I used to steer almost solely with my left arm, and my right arm rested on the shifter. So maybe put the shifter on your left side and rest your hand on the shifter to see if it helps?
Greg, I bought a CRF300 motorcycle two years ago. I only go riding on the weekends in the morning hours because I think it is safer, less traffic.

Congrats Moses, welcome back C Bully (good pace), well done Paul! I had a fun race. I had a few distractions mid race which set me back to tenth place. Despite that, I had lots of fun today in the Connaught. I was happy to see my new team mate recover mid race and finish fourth.
Good race everyone and thanks organizers!

1st of all sorry to Albert for the shunt going into the second 90 degree turn. In the replay, I could see that you needed to move a little to the right to go around a Honda in the braking zone. My PC frames were stuttering a little and I made contact before I knew what happened. I swerved to the right immediately. The crazy thing is that I bounced against the wall and I rejoined seamlessly alongside Eric. I felt bad for Albert especially since you were driving the Eagle.
This was a fun track. I took my Brabham setup from Mt. Panorama. I knew from my practice laps that the key would be to survive to the end. The problem is that I have to much fun pushing the limits at Porto. My race ended on the 7th lap when I went nose first into a hay bale. Congrats to the Podium finishers, thank you to the organizers. I'm looking forward to the next race.

I read that windows 10 end of support will be in October of 2025. I might have read that PC's before 2015 will not support windows 11?
My first thought was that this is a great time to learn Linux. My second thought is that the used PC market might offer me an upgrade.

Good race everyone. I was not able to find the virtual mirror in my car folder before the race. Thanks in advance to anyone able to help me locate them.
I enjoyed racing Paul, but then I went off track a few too many times. I learned from my mistakes especially on corner exits. I hope that I stayed out of the way of the leaders. I will be better prepared for the next race.
