Tried to join but I instantly hit the rev limiter in every gear with every car and could't get above 120 km/h. Not sure what's going on there... Sorry guys

Someone joined but there's no one on it now by the looks of things.
Because nobody can find it If someone joined someone found it I'm still on my work PC so don't have the game installed to check. Has there been another update, all I changed tonight was the session times and added the password. So not really any reason why it would stop working over the practice one. Yes, there was.

BTW, did you try the v1.07 beta yet, the new tyre model is nice
When is the official release? Especially with such an important tyre update, any reason not to enforce using this? Probably later this week, maybe even before wednesday.

Well that makes me feel a little better. I think the car looks cool, but if its rubbish then no thanks. Other thing I noticed last night is that the spray was awesome, couldn't see a thing. LOL. HOWEVER! There was no spray in the mirror or when looking behind so you it looked really wrong that there was spray from other cars in front of me but nothing behind. I have everything in game on EPIC or whatever the max setting is. That's broken since the latest UE4 update, you can see everyone's spray cloud except your own. Kunos is working on it but I guess it's pretty low on their prioritiy list.

Had to abandon the Lambo after tuesdays practice, as I could not get a driveable and fast balance in the setup. I was quite shocked when I took the Porsche for a quick spin afterwards and discovered it was so much faster over a lap - I know these cars are meant to be bop'd but I'm sure that can't be right.
ACC uses the official Blancpain BoP from last year and for every track. The Porsche wasn't very good in last years season and so he is in ACC. Lack of topspeed and bad aerodynamics compared to other cars. In addition it's quite hard to drive and very unforgiving. But keep in mind that Porsches naturally have a huge advantage in rainy conditions due to their rear engine concept. @Simon the Honda is just slow, it wasn't your fault. The car only did one Blancpain race last year (Spa) and there it wasn't even in the pro clss, so the guys doing the BoP for the Blancpain series had very limited information and data, so in the end the Bop for this car was quite off. As ACC replicates this 1:1 the car is also pretty much useless ingame. The NSX GT3 Evo from this year should be much better.

Here is the current development version of the next server. Until now, we could keep compability to 1.0.6, so in theory you can just run it, though I'd ask you to not simply update public servers with it and forget about it.
Sadly at least half of the fixes require both client and server on 1.0.7, but those work stand-alone and may be useful for leagues:
Code:
- Fixed an issue with the long formation lap. - Added server health diagonistics, usable in the UI for further client updates and as admin command. - Replaced "result" json outputs by a new structure containing more information like track, session data, all laps and all penalties. - Json outputs now are also written when the session is advanced via /next command, or when the last player leaves and the server resets. - The leaderboard part in the json outputs now contains all drivers including disconnected entries. - Fixed total race time having an offset in result jsons. - Fixed playerIds not filled in the json results when defined by entry list. - Fixed cupCategory not applied in any combination of settings (when using a custom car file).
Bad news: please also take note that 1.0.7 will not support the pitstop rules we gave a preview for, as there are too many changes and improvements made on the SP side; so we will try to offer everything 1:1 with the next release.
I'm not sure if I manage to update the handbook to cover the json dump before I have to leave for the Spa 24h, but it should be quite self-explanatory. There's just a wrapper around the leaderboard you already know, and the corresponding bugfixes. If you have questions about the format, feel free to ask here. https://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php?threads/for-server-league-admins-1-0-7-preview-1.59403/
