Very intense and fun race.
As I said, I spent an entire evening figuring out what strategy to use. I finally decided to go "full attack/flat out". So full boost, 2 pit stops, 250 liters and I would also have had to repair the engine because otherwise I wouldn't get to the end.
I tried, it almost seemed to work at the start, but when the time came for the first stop, I was only 10 seconds ahead of Tim, too few. Game over.
Very nice track and the 962 Long Tail is the coolest Group C to drive, it's fantastic.
PS: thanks Syd for the teamwork in the first laps. No problem, Maxime, a bit of misunderstanding in that situation, but nothing serious: I just lost a couple of seconds, Tim was too far away in any case, nothing has changed.

It was a big battle, I found myself being chased by an army of Porsches. I tried to do what I could. I was lucky enough to have some seconds to hold the position ahead of Goldtop at the end.
Nice race and congratulations to all: great battles and always very correct.
PS: I'm sorry for Maxime and his problems.

Really very nice race, with an unexpected result. The 962 ST was much better than the others and I got the pole. My start was bad enough (but better than the last one ) and I lost two places. I bit Max's tail for the whole race: in the corners I had to be careful not to ram him, but on the straight the speed difference was impressive. It was therefore almost impossible to overtake him. I was not very worried, I thought that during the pit stops, being able to do only a couple of clear laps, I could easily close the gap with the leader (Tim was only 2-3 seconds ahead). Here things did not go quite like this. I lost almost half a minute in the pits, for some reason the crew was very slow and so I had to settle for the third position. Very intense race, congratulations to Max for the perfect race strategy.

I am not sure if I have to list the choice of cars in relation to the track. In every case:
Barcelona - 962 ST Monza - 962 LT
For the other two races have yet to decide what to use, also because I'm not sure if I can participate in all four races.
I'll let you know later.

Could have been worse..... Could have been the 917-30 I think that the 962 should be fine once warm - it has about 2 tonnes of downforce to help us out and was epic on every circuit we raced it on in the old series Why not the 962 Long Tail so?

The battle between me, Mark, Maxime and Stefan was good, but it was compromised by my stupid attack at turn one and I rammed Stefan. Sorry again, mate. I had a good pace. The race had already started uphill due to the contact at the first corner with my teammate Barone who had problems with the brakes. I was able to recover up to the third position, up to this stupid mistake. Not being able to wait safely for Stefan, I continued to race, releasing a bit of the accumulated anger. In any case, fun car.

UKAC / UKAC Announcements / Re: Sunday Night Series Changing of the Guard

Like Maxime, I also dedicate myself only to classic cars and I don't like modern ones, which is why I have never raced in Sunday races.
I totally agree with Spanner: the world of simulation has changed. Now there is so much stuff, too much stuff and paradoxically the players have become more "superficial". I notice the same in the air sim. It is really difficult to organize something and if you can do it, it is only thanks to the "old guard" (people who started with the few simulators that were there 20 years ago). There wasn't a real generational change. At least that's my feeling.
As for the modern stuff, I think a handful of players are looking more at ACC or maybe some other title, than AC.

I see very interesting stuff here. I will probably skip the first race because I am having high temperatures with my PC, and I will have to install additional fans.
