I had a very average race. Was cooking my softs after a few laps and meds seemed to be holding up just okay in qually and praccy. So, went with hards on the rear which wasn't the best idea. Temps were fine, but rear end grip wasn't great.
I also ran with 6 rear wing and I was getting passed very easily on the main straight....

Ermm.. wasnt entirely sure at the start if people ahead had their pit limiters on, never saw any.
Spanner, you driving the C6R? If you were apologies for the nudge, I came off my limiter too eraly. Enjoyed that race, a lot going on around me, a lot of people dropping out. Was hoping to have the same pace as MJ but I couldn't get close enough for a battle. One nudge on the barrier and one silly spin were my only errors.

I have a lot to learn about stratagies. Have a decent first stint, though was slower than Simon and another Z4 and TT was catching too. Pitted. Wrong tyres. Too much fuel. Outlap, big collision with someone in a Vertigo. All my fault, got a kick off the kerbs after being on the grass. Sorry if I caused any damage. I picked up big bodywork damage, suspension damage, and a puncture. Was going to throw the towel in, but pitted and continued. Picked wrong tyres again!!!! Finished on wrecked inters.
One to forget.

Colin - did you get a stop&go for jumping the start? I saw your car moving a bit before green lights were on. Impatient? Yeah TT, didn't mean to move forward, but that'll teach me. Not that I believe I'll be on the front row again any time soon. Though I did think I had the pace to finish in the top 3 last night.

I Turned off the instrument display and concentrated just on driving in the last half hour and was glad to finish higher than qually holding off a much faster Colin Hines in the last few laps Yeah mate, would have loved a few more laps for that little battle. Some good blocks by you too, and with me being rusty, I didn't want to make some silly attempts to pass you

Was good to be back racing again after such a long absense. I ran the DBR9 for a while tonight, but couldn't get much out of it and opted for the Z4. First time i'd driven it, and it seems like a solid car. Qualified well, 5th I think and had some nice little short battles. Then, as normal, my pit stop goes wrong. Had transmission problems which I didn't fix, then got a stop/go for pitlane speeding. Climbed back to grab 6th (I think) so all in all, not a bad return for me.
Cheers all
