1  UKGPL / UKGPL Races / Re: UKGPL Season 44 (Spring 2024) 1955 GP (Works) - Roy Hesketh - Apr 14 on: April 14, 2024, 11:32:33 PM +0100
I'm so sorry Phil, the first touch was my fault, I couldn't brake enough and I gave you a police coup against thieves, I upset your car and because of me you lost 5 positions... ... Sad
The same with my teammate Clive who also gave him a touch, unseating him, although I tried to enter on the innermost side of that curve, I couldn't stop the car enough to avoid that hit.....
There were 2 hits and both were my fault, and I don't like that to happen, therefore, I am going to start last in the next race as a form of penalty for these 2 incidents that I generated today.
On the other hand, an interesting track and a spectacular race of unreachable evil that masseratti. very well handled.
See you at the next race and I reiterate my apologies to Phil and Clive
2  UKGPL / UKGPL Races / Re: UKGPL Season 44 (Spring 2024) 1967 F2 (Professionals) - Ingliston - Mar 26 on: March 28, 2024, 04:13:49 AM +0000
First of all, an apology to Tom, for not having calculated correctly to right my car with half a spin, and for that reason I made him lose control and forced him to shift R, fortunately he did not lose his 3rd position but the fight did damage him. for the 2nd place, once I realized what I did, I preferred to enter the pits and retire from the race, since this type of tracks are very, very dangerous, the attempt to overtake is only with the error ahead, Any small mistake that one makes is a chain reaction of accidents and that doesn't seem very good to me, I think I will stop running these kinds of tracks in the future, as Axel says for a guy from the 6th decade like me, it is very difficult to do something good on this kind of tracks. Cry
I'm sorry if I hurt any other driver, I didn't have time to look at the prebluda at all and as they say, you breathe 3 times per lap,... Tongue
Sometimes these kinds of mistakes make me want to leave the camp, but I don't blame myself, a large part of it was this track, which in itself is very good but they are no longer for me.
On the other hand I had a big fight with Alain, almost the entire race, until he lost control of his car and I couldn't avoid him, and that's when I later made the mistake with Tom......  Undecided
   anyway, nice fight alain..... Smiley
3  UKGPL / UKGPL Races / Re: UKGPL Season 44 (Spring 2024) 1966 CA - Road America - Mar 19 on: March 19, 2024, 11:49:47 PM +0000
First of all, a big apology for my start yesterday in the race, I forgot for a moment that it was a rolling start, my wife was talking to me about something about a client 10 seconds before the flag went down, and that was what threw me off. for a few seconds. Embarrassed
When I remembered I had already hit Greg and I'm very sorry Greg, it was an idiot of mine, fortunately you were able to continue and recover your starting position just like me... Smiley
My god, my brain is getting old...... nuke
A very good race with a relentless Yannick ahead and a Gregori who recovered his mistakes very well and left me in 3rd position, with 10 laps left, I started to make several small mistakes since my left front tire was red hot, and he passed me in the braking references, causing Evil to catch up with me with 3 laps remaining, I defended my bronze medal with my teeth, and in the last lap I realized that when braking for turn 4 he was very close to me when I started to brake, and I blocked the wheels to the right, so as not to hit myself and I managed it, but it went into the sand and lost precious time, what a shame that fight for the 3rd place was to rent a balcony.....great race evil congrats also Wink
congratulations yannick and gregory, very strong, yours.

no words....amazing race, and internet gone..... Angry
5  UKGPL / UKGPL Races / Re: UKGPL Season 44 (Spring 2024) 1967 F1 (Works) - Zeltweg - Mar 10 on: March 10, 2024, 11:38:50 PM +0000
a pretty good race for me, despite spending the whole week thinking that mod 55 was being run today...... death
When I turned on the computer and realized that they were training zeltwed, with an hour left before the start of it, I was amazed and immediately started training zeltwed, fortunately I already knew it, but not the Marcos version.
but I had enough time to learn it and make a set up, pretty good.
I regret all the mishaps that happened at the start, Jonnie's disconnection.. hang and the majority of abandonments that this race caused, perhaps I would not have reached the podium if that had not happened......
For Patrick, a big hug for running in this league and always very well received by everyone and especially by me, since he is a worthy and fantastic rival in the Galaxie League... I send him a big hug for this resounding victory, a masterful handling with a fairly strong bird of prey, congratulations pat........ clap
good race from trsitan, quite strong, good for that 2nd place.
I made several mistakes and I hit myself a lot, especially in turn 5 that I don't know how I didn't break the front suspension, and thanks to that I was able to continue, I knew very well that I couldn't reach the Ferrari in front of me and I dedicated myself to staying stable and maintain that great 3rd position, and despite all the blows, I managed to reach the end.
Thank you for everything UKGPL and see you on Sunday in mod 55, since the f2 on Tuesday, I can't run it.
6  UKGPL / UKGPL Races / Re: UKGPL Season 44 (Spring 2024) 1967 F2 (Professionals) - Bulawayo - Feb 27 on: February 27, 2024, 11:18:55 PM +0000
Well: I must say that it has been a very frustrating race for me, since I kept making mistake after mistake, and with 4 laps to go, more mistakes, that I already decided to withdraw from the race.
I am very grateful to Fulvio for having lifted my spirits with the fight, of course, which in the end I managed, but due to my multiple mistakes I lost it again, ...very good defense, Fulvio, you did not make a single mistake.....I congratulate you.
On the other hand, I apologize to Evil for the mistake (one of the many I made) in the 2nd corner after the start of the race, the braking reference went away and I couldn't avoid contact. what a bad thing,...excuse me evil.... oops
I'm not going to run the next f2 race (that's how some people breathe hehehe) since I'm going on a rest trip for 5 days, but in a month I will return to see if I can do something honorable in this f2 category Wink
I wish you luck and thank you.
7  UKGPL / UKGPL Races / Re: UKGPL Season 44 (Spring 2024) 1967 F1 (Works) - Hockenheim - Feb 25 on: February 25, 2024, 11:20:28 PM +0000
very happy with my result, I was the best positioned BRM, behind about 8 eagles, a bramy, a lotus (which I was behind almost the entire race) and a spectacular honda, which entered the top 5 of the eagles, very good job for that rising sun Cool
Unfortunately my partner Jonnie blew up the engine very early and a great opponent left me in the same car, actually he made me sad...... Sad
The rest was to hit that whale as quickly as possible and it went quite well since I only made a slight mistake and Dony passed me, on his BT, but on the straight the BRM is faster and I was able to recover my position, the rest of the race was to stay behind the Lotus since I couldn't catch up with it and that's how it ended. I expected a greater number of victims but almost all of us finished and I really liked that. Congratulations to everyone for their excellent driving. and to the podium.
I think I already have good koins saved and I can now plan my strategy for the next races. Roll Eyes
Thank you for the server and for the effort you make so that we have a pleasant time.

Good afternoon gentlemen: I had problems with this track in the previous race in mod 55 and now that I am doing my rehearsals, it keeps throwing me to the desk, especially in the stadium area, since I step on the grass and it throws me out of the game.
Is it possible that I am missing a patch to solve that?
   I would appreciate any help.
   thank you

Wink great race for me, in the 2 gears chaparral, my main idea was end the race, and I do that, and fighting the 3 place, a great batlle, for that place, enjoy to much.
now I'm 3 in standings  Grin and I have betters cars for next races...cross fingers hehe. Smiley
congrats first 2 a great batlle also Cool

12  UKGPL / UKGPL Races / Re: UKGPL Season 44 (Spring 2024) 1955 GP (Works) - Hockenheim - Feb 18 on: February 18, 2024, 11:15:48 PM +0000
I am GUTTED.

I had an amazing qualifying, grabbing 2nd on the Grid. Beating my favorite Alien and friend, Hristo, which was already a victory for me!

Start of the race for some reason my car didn't shift into gear, which got me a slow takeoff, but I settled in behind the top 2. My car was the slowest of the top runners, so I lived and died by the draft.

Me and Enrique armanaged to break away from the rest of the field and had our own private battle for 2nd. We must have passed each other at least 20 times! Totally Epic and some of the best wheel-to-wheel action I have had in GPL. Sadly, going into the stadium section side by side with 5 to go, we just barely clipped wheels (MY FAULT) Sad and it instantly crashed me to desktop  Angry I had no idea this track had a bug where you needed to replace files.. Damn. I am so sorry Enrique, I hope you were able to continue with relatively minor damage.

Jonathan
No Jonathan, I couldn't continue, the same thing happened to me as you, it sent me to the desktop too, I don't know if there is a patch for that, since in qualy it also sent me to the desktop twice..... Sad
It's a shame we came very, very beautifully so to speak with the vanwall, we already had a good separation from those who were 4 coming and the fight was for 2nd place. As you say, an epic race with a lot of respect between the two, and that makes it masterful, I had a great race, I had a lot of fun and that's what I want when I run, to have a good and clean battle, and today it was achieved. ..... Wink
I had contact with a Lancia in turn 3 and I think it was due to the very early braking of this Lancia, but anyway, I feel like I was at fault and I apologize for that.
Jonnie's majestic race, congratulations my great Brazilian friend, untouchable, we were behind with Jonathan but we didn't close the distance, and I think he was thinking the same thing, very strong Jonnie and without any mistakes, congratulations. clap
We missed a podium, which is a shame, but the fight was great. formidable... congratulations and if you don't worry, it's the simmers thing hehehehe
P.D maybe i'm the guilty of your "knock" phil ?  Huh

13  UKGPL / UKGPL Races / Re: UKGPL Season 44 (Spring 2024) 1967 F2 (Professionals) - Killarney - Feb 13 on: February 14, 2024, 04:00:31 PM +0000
hi guys
Just as Dimitri said, the small Ferrari is a very reliable ute and I liked it a lot, I was able to finish 7th and perhaps if I hadn't made those 4 huge mistakes, I would have been able to finish further ahead.
Also what happened is that I arrived from work just around qualy time and since I have a new PC, I did not have the track installed, so I downloaded it and logged into the server, with 30 minutes of time to do a setup and I learned the track, and I think I got the time, but I would have liked to have been able to train a little more, maybe I wouldn't have made those mistakes, but anyway, a 7th position left me very happy.
Well done Alain for the victory, you got rid of the thorn in Sunday's race in mod 67.... Grin
congratulations evil for that 2nd place, you come with a very good season and Pete, with the bronze medal
   see you in the other
14  UKGPL / UKGPL Races / Re: UKGPL Season 44 (Spring 2024) 1967 F1 (Works) - Balcarce - Feb 11 on: February 13, 2024, 01:53:38 AM +0000
I couldn't finish happier with this 2nd place, after the incident with the 2 leaders, I put myself in 1st place for about 4 laps, but the Frenchman got very close to me and I preferred to let it go and avoid an incident and losing a possible podium because of it. Then I had to get behind the 1st place and run as best as possible so that Jonnie wouldn't catch up with me and that's how it was, I think I made a good strategy and it turned out quite well,
congratulations jonnie, very good with the 16 cylinder car Cool
15  UKGPL / UKGPL Races / Re: UKGPL Season 44 (Spring 2024) 1966 CA - Spa67 - Feb 6 on: February 09, 2024, 01:38:36 AM +0000
for TOM :
From my point of view, they are fun races and that is what I focus on since my work absorbs me and running any race in any way and arriving (but arriving) anywhere, is for me a moment of relaxation and turning off my brain from everyday life.
I don't want you to retire friend, you are an excellent runner and you may have a chance of finishing well.
I don't share a DQ for forgetting the rolling star, I would rather share a BOG (back on the grid).
Please, among old LPG drivers, don't stop racing, I need someone at your level to crash better hahahahaha.
Come on friend, stay with us, I ask you from the bottom of my heart Wink
