sorry bad race for me this evenin!

i was havin a real good scrap with gymer and picnic in the 2 teamshark cars! was real close for many many laps but i did not have good speed thro last bend and so was way to far back for any pass moves into turn one so was just hopin the guys infront would make a mistake!  someone made a mistake, it was me went on the grass last turn tryin to get to much speed! 

this let thro jonzo and his team m8, again real close racing!
but again i could not find a way past!
down the back straight jonzo had spun his rears and that gave me a sniff, i made a bit of a lung i call it lung as i was a few car lenghts back and jonzo closed the door quite late and i tagged him!
sorry for this jonzo, my fault m8!

jonzo managed to catch the slide and carry on where i waited and followed!
i managed to get past jonzo 3 or 4 laps later and hunted down his team m8
i think we all know it is quite tight around the chicane section but i managed to keep real close all the way to the last bend, i floored it for the straight but the guy in ferrari (sry didnt get ur name) let off the gas and i tagged him to
again completely my fault and my apologies!   i spun off the track and i didnt see if u caught your tank slapper or not! i hope you did!

at this point i decieded to retire

i ran 10 wing, maybe i should of ran 12 keep that blinkin tyre cool lol

well what a race that was!
i was practicing another track, thought id have a break and do an online race, and see some people chattin about srou race im like damm!!

quickly get in no setup no nothing, managed to get some good laps in during praccy 2 and qually and make a quick setup!
i did one flyin lap with low fuel and soft tyres and managed third on the grid! lol wow i couldnt believe it!

started race with med meds and in race my bad setup showed its true colours!  left rear was burning after 3 laps!!
that was prob because i was under immense pressure from the off from a red ferrari!  i was really supprised how much i had to defend after the straights but at the last part of the circuit got a gap!
then i think the guy (sorry dont know who u are) must of made a mistake and he fell back into the waiting arms of kerr!
i buitl up a 5 sec or so lead and from there just tried to manage the left rear as best i could!

I  had a go at catchin freq but i could only really match his times and at the same time was really cookin the tyre so i tried to consolidate 3rd!
i was puttin in a few good laps then lettin the tyre cool a bit then do a few more!

Kerr started catchin me quite consistently so i decieded to just try and keep the tyre as cool as i could until he got a bit closer then make a little charge for it! fortunately for me he got tagged and spun and from there on out i could manage the time behind me to around 3 secs!

Overall im really chuffed with the result considering my seat time for the event!
congrats to freq ruskus and my team m8 baracus on makin it a r24-7 3/4!

Good race that for me!
Qualified on pole for NGT by over half a second so was confident of winning this one! maybe over confident!
I started well pulling a lead away from leuven and im thinking this will be an easy race! then bang a thought!  he maybe heavier of fuel then me so i tried to keep the pace up to build the biggest gap i could just in case!

as leuven said i got around 10 secs or so but my in and out laps i lost concentration and came off the track twice which lost me alot of time! 

I came out of the pits ten secs behind and really started to push to get the time back! i started closing and then leuv made a mistake and i was only 1 second behind!  this was my chance!  however he must of had fresher tyres then me as he started to pull away 2 tenths per lap and my left rear was really starting to burn and i had a few tank slappers which cost me more time so i had to concede the win and take second!

still a good result but a little dissappoint with myself for losing it for a couple of laps which cost me the race!

one scarey moment to mention!  going into opel curva, one ngt trying to move out my way with a another infront of him (scraping) with a gt on my bum trying to get past me! very close, very tense but we all got past in one piece!  very well driven by all on the lapping being lapped part!   grats to winners

I would like a full time spot in enduro g2/gtc and gt1 sprint with reserves to the rest (just cos im greedy!! )

yup, what a race!   a real thumbs up for sim racing in my opinion!  count me in (if theres space/if i am alowed) for the next season!!

i spent the first 2 sessions thinkin we were on the 04 track and couldnt fathom why i was over 2 secs of my normal pace, plus my tyres were burning up!  so spent all of qually tryin to quick fix my setup for the race! managed to get a qually lap in which put me in 8th which i was chuffed with considering my problems!

race start and i was just holding onto zacari who was in 7th, i was thinkin this was going to be a long race but even after a few laps the field was still tight top 8 and so some hope crept back in again!

freq and paul?  red 550 made small offs which put me into 6th and for a few laps were on my tail looking for ways past but i think a few more small offs dropped them back a bit nearer midway point in the race!

lueven had his off and with jon's disco i was in 4th still chasing zacari!  i started to now put the pressure on but he was holding his ground well and i even got along side a couple of times one for at least 3 corners but still managed to keep infront of me!!
with around 12-15 mins left zacari got to much wheelspin and i managed to sneek past and gave chase to the magnificint TT in his mazza!  he was 5 secs infront and with 10 mins to go was catching around 0.8 - 1.0 per lap!
i thought i had one more lap left where i would have been right on his bumper but the race finished with me under one sec behind!

all in all a great race and even tho i joined this season late have enjoyed it ivery much!

bit of an off race for me aswel!

i swore i had a setup for this track but i could not find it so i was makin a setup as quick as i could in qually which left me down the back end of the field!
was havin great fights climbing thro the field!
me and my team M8 got caught behind jan for a bit, teamie got thro and i did a lap or so later only to spin at the next bend doh!  had to let the hole field thro!

a few laps later i see my same teamie in front of me again! (he must of had a spin too)  and were again chasing down jan in his porka!

unfortunatly near then end of the race, teamie made a move on jan down to T1
jan must of broke early i think as i brake in normal spot and i was a good 4-5 car lenghts back but i could not slow down enough and just tapped jan in the boot!  My apologies jan!  I waited for jan to go before i went!

me and jan had another little battle and again when i got past, the next corner i spun!

jan was my grim reaper this evening! so i then called it a nite!

what an absolute wreaker of a race for me!

i apologise if i knocked any slower cars off the track, I never felt a thing if i did but lol u guys were in the way!
was loosing a second a lap from the off, get to half way pit stop and i have 35 litres of juice left... i take out 20 litres of juice from my fill up and with 17 mins of race left i have 15 litres of juice!!!

i think the slower cars should stay on the racing line as much as possable when being lapped!  when u guys move off line ur unpredictable... i spun more then once being supprised where you guys were going! my fault i spun aswel but it didnt help!

but most of all it was the heat that mucked me up! my setup was useless in that weather! I had taken too much out the revs to try save then engine when i should of left it up top!

anyway hope u all had a good race!

LOL i finished my first race!!  
had alot of fun this evening, the banter aswel as the racing!

i had put a 20.1 in practice but i guess i had Spu**ed to early as i could only get a 20.5 in qually 2 which put me in 6th!

started race with alot of pressure from behind from the off!
first 2-3 laps i was defending a little while trying to warm my tyres up nicely!
after that i started to creep back up to 5th place guy luevren (sry spellin) where i just sat half a sec or so behind for 25 mins so he could concentrate in keeping up with guys in front and pick up any pieces if things went wrong which worked out well!

I saw my teamm8 and freq have a good battle which was surely wearing there tyres out for 3rd and was hoping that by saving mine could get a good blast last ten minutes!

well it wasnt to be, I just could not get past big L, even tho i was faster big L had his setup be faster in the right spots and i could not find a way past! but it was close and i put as much pressure as i could but he did not crack! Great drive!  good race!  and my first finish!

qualified 4th for this event which i was really pleased with but my connection let me down again this time on the warm up lap so again apologies if anyone suffered because of that!

i dont think i was anywhere near challenging for the win but maybe a podium was in sight

anyways im off to buy a router tomorrow which ive been told should fix my disco's

yea i didnt have the best of times this evening!
had done a bit of practice for this race and was looking in good shape!

claus managed an incredible 19.7 in qually to my (extrememly pleased) second spot of 20.4
1 min to go to race and i get a disco! so have to start from the back of the field!

race start and got thro the ngt's as quick and safe as i could, i think it took 4 or so laps, thanks ngt guys for being predictable!
after that caught a 4 5 car chain at the back of the gt field, and was stuck for around 4 or so laps not finding a way past, but then tyrs started to wear out infront of me and i was able to dive up the inside of a few cars! got myself into 5th with 20 secs to 4th with around 50 mins to go, pitted with 40 mins to go and just got out in 4th with around 11 secs to third after everything shook out, started really putting some laps in when i discoed again

how ever I enjoyed the race and i am looking forward to a good battle for season 5

paul, i was running full tank at start, was planning to stop half way for tyres and a quick top up of fuel needed!, that bmw shot off past us both, i tried holding him up as much as poss (safely) but he got past in the end! so i figured him to be not to much of a threat and was really concentrating on yourself and mo?? in red porka? u both had unfortunate spins which left me on my own before my disco! o well, look forward to the next one
