I chose a non stop strategy too. As it turned out, my car was damaged on lap 1 which took 2 seconds per lap off my free practice time on full tanks. Not enough to make it worthwhile going in for repairs, especially if my pit crew were going to be as slow as Shark's. (Not that I knew that at the time).
I expected to be trailing throughout the race but then catch up when people pitted. As it turned out, I passed most of the other G3 entries quite early, after they had gone off for one reason and another. Only Luis remained in front and I would have got very close to him when he pitted but his engine blew and handed me the win. Hard luck Luis!

I was puzzled you'd said this as I didn't remember any contact. Now I've seen the replay and it confirms my view. There was no contact and I stayed right to give you room, not being sure of your position. You could see me. What's the problem? No problem - from my view at the time your car seemed to be coming across and then bounce back the other way. I've seen the replay now and it shows that this was you steering right to avoid me instead of contact. Wasn't meant to imply any blame btw Paul OK Paul, no problem them. It's just that I'm a bit touchy about this kind of thing, having been penalised several times.

Had a good scrap with Smoothy and some mild contact where he came back across as I was passing - hard to know what happened as no replay yet.

I had the lag problem in qualifying and on the warm-up lap but didn't notice again afterwards.
This is one of my favourite tracks and, at one time, I was confident on it. Not this time though. Lack of recent practice really cut my confidence and it showed in the lap times.
Still, I qualified 10th and wasn't too unhappy with that. The race was very tense and my car felt awful. Probably the result of lack of practice.
Again I managed the whole race without incident although I witnessed a few! On second thoughts, I did run wide twice into the bus stop and got told off by the race director. Not that it gave me any advantage.
Got passed several times but due to people falling off in front of me I managed to finish 5th. Happy with that.

My race ended while in 6th after about 15 minutes when I broke the suspension against the first tyre chicane.
The right compromise between commitment, speed and accuracy is not easy to find is it?
Still, at least I kept my nose clean this time (apart from the tyre marks that is).
Glad to see the back of that track for a while.

I must have done thousands of hours on my 2 year old Saitek R440 and it's as good now as on the day it was bought. Thoroughly recommended.

Could we have a Enna practice server up on Saturday so we could get some extra time in on the track, plus it's fun with other UKGTR members out there instead of the craziness of the public severs............... pretty please....................... Get's my vote too. Enna Open Practice on-line from now until I stop it Won't be until late Sat eve now, enjoy I've put UKGTR-Smoothy up too. It's set up for the same format as the race server so you'll be able to do the whole shooting match including a race if you wish. Timing sheets, results and replays are automatically posted to http://www.compage.biz/gtr

Qualified 14th on race setup (not much practice so thought it would be safer).
After my shameful performance at Enna I'm pleased to say I kept my nose clean this time. Just as well really as someone took it off at the Foggy esses when I made a stupid mistake and spun into the first part at low speed while in 9th. So it was a 55 second pit stop to get it repaired.
Came out of the pits in 20th and finished 14th after spending the rest of the race in amongst people who were a lap ahead.
(edited after watching replay).
