Same here Adam, always seems to be the 1st car I lap though in single player, and they look so big and ponderous, mind you the coppers used em back in the 60's so they must have a bit of go in them.

I think you're getting your Jags mixed up ... tonights race is in the E-type, your thinking about the Sweeny-esque Jag in the bottom class - which has lots of poke but also weighs in at about the same as the moon.

Any sensible setup comming? There is one setup in the online folder for the E-type, if I remember correctly, with which I drove a low 16.

The other Jag in the game is a MkII, as driven by Inspector Morse!

LOL TT, The EType is meant to be a british classic car, I think its more like a boat tho, infact all the British cars are poo in GTL IMHO.

Hell, I'm slow, doesn't bother me. It's several things: car being undrivable, can't turn the thing and when I do, it keeps turning. Mostly, though, it's not my style, GTR suits me better. Been practicing, made car drivable, but just can't make it under 1:18. Lost patience, see you later, I hope.

It's a learning curve Tom. I found driving around Dijon in the demo frustrating as I found the cars unpredictable. After spending a lot of time with the game I understand them better and they feel really connected. One of the great strengths of the game is the way different driving styles are required for different cars. I found learning in the Cortina to be really helpful as it's so forgiving to drive.
Dijon isn't my favorite track, I can't quite work out how to take the long fiddly corners and I'm never sure if I've managed a decent lap until I cross the line.
